This lovely newly converted holiday cottage set on a pretty farm. It has two bedrooms and offers a great deal of comfort to holidaymakers wanting a rural holiday yet within easy reach of some wonderful places to visit. It has a sunny and light cottage which is furnished to a high standard with modern furniture and a very well equipped kitchen perfect for a self catering holiday.
This holiday cottage is on a small farm and the owners are very happy for holiday makers to bring their horses on holiday to enjoy the miles of bridle paths.

There is an open plan sitting/dining room with kitchen which overlooks the beautiful surrounding countryside. The modern kitchen area is well equipped with dishwasher, fridge, microwave, electric oven and extractor fan, and guests have use of the laundry with washing machine and tumble dryer. There are two quality leather sofas, a coffee table with a TV and freeview. There is a small dining table seating 4.
There are two bedrooms; one being a double bedroom with a lovely en suite bathroom, there is also matching bedside tables, chest of drawers and wardrobe. All linen in the bedrooms are pure cotton quality adding to the comfort of the cottage. The other bedroom is a twin room and furnished in the same style, this bedroom also has an en suite but is in-fact a wet room, suitable for disabled guests.
Further details outdoors:
French doors lead from the dining to the large patio area and surrounding countryside, this would be the perfect place to relax, have a barbeque and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and views of the open farmland. During the summer months guests can take a dip in the delightful outdoor heated swimming pool.

Not far from this holiday cottage in Kent, is the village of Sandgate with its restaurants, antique shops and pubs.
Further afield, Dover, in Kent, has a magnificent castle perched on the top of the cliffs, Rye, in Sussex, has its wonderful mix of antique shops, tea rooms and smugglers haunts and of course the world heritage site of Canterbury!
For golfers, try your skills on a links course, Rye, Royal St George's, Littlestone , Royal Cinque Ports and Sene Valley are all within an easy reach also a nine hole golf course in Hythe.
If you want to travel a little further afield why not visit 'The Marquis' restaurant, formally the Marquis of Granby just recognised by Michelin as a place to watch or visit one of the fish restaurants in nearby Hythe

we would highly recommend this cottage to anyone intrested in a nice relaxing get away, the owners are extremley friendly and helpful, the cottage is generously equipped and very comfortable. although the weather was very cold and windy we still had a lovely holiday because we could look forward to a lovely cosy evening in the cottage. it had everything you could want! |
