It is hard to convince someone who has not been to this area of Florida before just how great a place it is.
Every form of entertainment is on your door step, fine dining , concert halls, comedy club, movie theatres , Kravis Centre for the performing arts, The Beach , Designer shops, Macy’s , the supermarket . You can walk to them all , or use the local bus service,
City Place was designed around a huge plaza , with almost every form of entertainment right on your door step , people come from all over to dine , listen to live concerts , the Opera, The Comedy Club , 5 screen movie theater , The Kravis Centre , Hariet Himmel Theater , just to mention a few of the attractions within a safe 5 minutes walk of the front door . The beach bus can take you to the beach without using your car, we have some guest staying who do not hire a car while staying at The Courtyards.

The Florida / Florida Gold Coast region
City Place is located 60 miles North of Miami and 130 miles South of Orlando it is slightly South of Nassau so you can expect a tropical climate afternoon rains for ½ hour in summer afternoons and a warm winter climate which is why the area is so popular with people from around the world. It is called the Gold or Treasure Coast due to the fact that there are several wrecks of Spanish Galleons and Pirates Ships scattered up and down the coast laden with treasures which are still being recovered today.
You can visit the beach year long in this part of Florida , in winter the nights do cool of into the low 70’s and high 60’s on occasion so remember to bring a light jacket for evening.

Florida Palm Beach / City Place area
The Courtyards at CITY PLACE
City Place was built a few years ago and located within walking distance to Palm Beach and the Inter Coastal Waterway. The Courtyards at City Place has a Spanish Theme of Flowered Courtyards Fountains and Palm Trees.
The Plaza too is designed to hold open concerts with shops and restaurants surrounding the square musical fountains are also set against the famous Bellagio Restaurant, the whole area is pedestrian friendly, the main street has a large selection of shops, including Macy’s and lots of other choices
Almost every night there are open concerts in the Plaza, Opera Singers, Violinists, and Classical Guitarists you can enjoy fine dining and watch the artists, there is so much selection of dining in City Place that you will probably not need to use your car at night, there is also a 5 screen movie theater 3 minutes walk from the front door, food and entertainment prices are not any higher than other areas of Florida.
The Kravis Centre is 3 minutes walk away; it is a concert hall holding all types of musical events.
Museums are located throughout the area some within walking distance and others a short drive away or by trolley
The beach is reached by Beach Trolley and only minutes away, the water is tropical ,there are miles of beaches to walk with all the activities you would expect in a tropical climate.
Rapids Water Park is located a few miles away and is very good. The Everglades are less than an hour away by car.. Wellington is one of the biggest venues for horses in The USA during “The Season” between January and April there are great horse events taking place there from Polo to Equestrian the world’s best riders and Polo teams will be there and Wellington is only 30 minutes by car. Safety features include electromagnetic security gates throughout complex, roaming security guards, hurricane impact resistant windows and covered assigned garage parking. Cityplace has the highest concentration of police in WPB(police dept. 2 blocks away)and the area is populated by mostly professionals and retirees. Also unit has an electronic keyless lock for easy entry. Codes are changed in between tenants for added safety.

You can walk to everything that City Place has to offer The Shops, Theater ,Restaurants, Kravis , Gallery, Night Life on Clematis Street, Intercostals are all within easy minutes walking distance. Within 5 minutes drive to Palm Beach and Worth Avenue Shops and The Beach Walk. ten minutes by car to Palm Beach Airport If you dont have your lap top , there is a coffee shop that has computers available 5 minutes walk from the front door Lushly Landscape Gardens throughout the complex, a large private tropical swimming pool reserved for residents. Fully equipped gym fitness centre with views into the tropical courtyard and pool. This complex is one of the finest in Florida call us for more information.
Further details outdoors: If you don’t want to cook breakfast or lunch there are lots of choices that will suite all tastes remember to check the web sites but not all restaurant in the City Place area have been listed.
You can relax all day long at the beautiful and large tropical pool or relax in one of the courtyards there is also the fully equipped gym located in the court yards.

You may find that you have not used your car there is so much to do in the area, there is a free bus to Clematis Street within 2 minutes walk, the Beach Bus stops 50 yards from your front door, there are bike tours, water tours, walking areas, beach walks and lots more all within walking distance to the front door.
There is also a Publix Supermarket within easy walking distance, this is a very well stocked supermarket with a huge wine selection and the prices are comparable with other Florida stores. The Palm Beach area is a golfers dream , to many courses to mention , the PGA OF America is only 15 minutes away from City Place which held the 1982 Ryder Cup and now holds the Honda Classic golf can be arrange at the PGA course.

Our 4 week stay in your condo at City Place was fantastic. We have never had such a great holiday , the area is teaming with entertainment Opera, open air concerts, the Comedy Club , Cinema , the beautiful tropical pool and of course the gym. Your pictures and description do not do City Place the justice it deserves, simply a marvelous place to spend ones holiday. Do recommend your golfing guests a round on The Ocean Course at Manalapan.
