This beautiful property is comprised of one large bedroom, 2 standard bedroom with 2 single beds, a comfortable living room, a dining room with an additional sofa bed, pleasant entrance and corridor, fully equipped kitchen one bathroom and one extra WC, spread out over 130 square meters with all the charm of the 17th century typical Florentine building.

Newly renovated, carefully respecting the original style, this flat is full of light and offers you all the comfort and space of a quiet and large home located in the centre of the city. Only 10 minutes walk from the Dome, 4 minutes from Piazza San Marco where you can find Beato Angelico’s Annunciazione. 1 minute from San Lorenzo traditional Market, 6 minutes walk from Michelangelo’s DAVID (Accademia) and and 6 minutes away from Piazza Santissima Annunziata known among others attraction for Rosso Fiorentino’s and Pontormo’s frescos (1513 – 1515) and Luca della Robbia Ceramics.

Good rail networks will take you to the nearby regions of Emilia Romagna, where you can visit the lively university city of Bologna, or to Lazio where you can see Rome. The region is renowned for its excellent cuisine and the fascinating architecture.

The Florence / Central Florence area

Florence is at the heart of Tuscany, a city with some of the most iconic architecture in the world with its Duomo and various piazzas. You can tour the Uffizi and Palazzo Pitti to see some of the world's finest artwork, or relax in the Boboli Gardens. There are numerous trattorias and osterias where you can enjoy the regional dishes, and lots of shops to enjoy some of the elegant Italian fashion.

Restaurant Vinolio on Via San Zanobi 126 is a very good restaurant which is not expensive. The property is close to the pharmacy, supermarket and laundry. At Easter at 11am in Piazza del Duomo you have one of the most significant historical parades in the region called the Scoppio del Carro.

Right in the heart of the historical centre of Florence, this really spacious property is located barely a leisurely and lovely 10 minutes walk through the old town to the Duomo, the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizzi and all the main artistic attractions, shopping and the great restaurants. It is a large and peaceful oasis of peace, full of light, with views on the roof of Florence. Ideal for a familly or a group of friends.

Only a few minutes walk from the railway station (Firenze Santa Maria Novella).
Garage (80 meters from the flat) is available by the week, at 20 € a day .

“Spacious, Good Value and Great Location” Easy walking to all the sites in Florence, reasonably priced, great amenities, large fridge/freezer, washing machine and lots of space for a family. Highly recommended. There are a couple of flights of stairs to access the apartment, but no problem for us.

“Our favorite holiday till date!” My husband and I stayed at the 'Casa Morelli' during our 2nd anniversary trip to Italy and simply fell in love with Florence and our home away from home :) The owner, Roberta is the kindest lady and was very helpful. The apartment is very clean, charming and so beautifully restored... i loved her collection of old prints, beautiful old furniture & all the lovely features all around the house... and not to forget all the space we had. I could easily fit our entire family in here for a lovely sleep-over holiday! It's in a quiet street, so away from all the noise but just a few minutes walking distance away from everything important in Florence. We woke up every day to the sound of lovely church bells & the morning sunshine which streamed through the lovely-huge shuttered windows. We walked to the railway station, to Duomo to the city center & all the sites and around town everyday and it was safe enough to be wandering around at 2 in the morning as well. I can continue praising our stay and our experience in this lovely home forever. We recommend it to all our friends and family and when we go back to Florence, we surely will stay here again! Thank you Roberta... I know this review is a little late, but we really appreciated all the help and loved staying at Casa Morelli. Our only suggestion, take a good and proper map of the city center to initially find your way around all the streets and side-streets and your way to the apartment, but after a few hours of wandering around you'll know your way around without the map like it was your own town!

Recently, we were fortunate enough to spend almost two weeks at Casa Morelli in Florence. The apartment was even nicer than the rental site suggested. It was bright and spacious with character and charm blended with very modern upgrades. Signora Morelli could not have been more helpful and gracious. The apartment was very well situated within walking distance of all major artistic/historical sites as well as the train and bus stations for trips around Tuscany. My chef son especially appreciated the wonderful food market located at the end of the street; the rest of us appreciated his cooking efforts! All in all, this apartment was very comfortable for a family of four adults. We couldn't recommend it more highly! Shannon and Barry from Canada 23 novembre 2010



The apartment was perfect - the decoration and facilities were all of the highest standard and we had no problems whatsoever. The location of the flat was also ideal for exploring as you were far enough away from the centre for peace and quiet but were never more than five minutes from the busy sights and sounds.
The city was superb. So much fabulous art and architecture, wonderful food and friendly people. Thank you once again for ensuring that our trip to Florence will live long in our memories.

The Casa Morelli apartment is everything it claims to be and more. This
apartment must surely be the largest you will stay in for the price while at
the same time retaining a homely feel rather than the cold clinical touch
you sometimes get with rented apartments.

Situated in the San Marco area of Florence Casa Morelli is only a couple of
minutes walk to the Galleria dell' Accademia which houses Michelangelo's
David; the Museo di San Marco and only five minutes walk to the church of
San Lorenzo and the Cappelle Medicee. The Duomo is a couple of minutes
further on and its bells can be heard from the apartment, which is a nice
way to start the day at breakfast.

Casa Morelli is a great base for which to explore the great city of Florence
and our only regret was that we had to leave both behind but we fully intend
to return someday soon.

Really very good value for money. We totally agree with the previous reviews. The apartment is unexpectedly a large home away from home, very conveniently located in a quiet street, within walking distance from most of the attractions of Florence.

Our stay has been wonderful. The owners are very friendly, made us feel welcome, and are very helpful. We highly recommend this place to everyone.

This is a beautiful, elegant apartment in the centro storico of Florence and the bells of the Duomo provide a delightful start to the day. It has been very sensitively modernised and retains its original charm. It is very spacious and is cool in summer. Restaurants and shops are nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and Signora Morelli could not have been more helpful.
