The house is very spacious and has been divided into 8 large and elegant apartments,17 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms (from 2 up to 8 sleeps) for the guests, which can be joined to accommodate even large groups from 15 people up to 33-36 people or ready for single rents . The property has been completely restructured in full respect of the Tuscan architectural style, with the handsome façade in bare stone, the door and window frames in grey sandstone, the roof ventilated with modern technology but made using the ancient tiles, the interior floors in classic red terracotta, the ceilings with great beams in chestnut, oak and cypress, or beams in antique terracotta, the plaster walls tinted in pale hues, the stone stairways, and the original frescoes that decorate some of the ceilings.
Every apartment is equipped with: lights, electric heating, fully equipped kitchen,complete set of sheets, complete set of towels and courtesy kits, phone, independent air conditioning/heating.
Part of the farm is made up of olive groves for the production of IGP (Indicazione Geografica Protetta) oil (“Colline Montalbano”) with about 800 trees on 5 hectares of sloping hillside terrain.
A 6x12 meter swimming pool amid the olive trees, with a lovely view of the town of Vinci and the entire zone of Montalbano. Community area with an ancient restructured oven, grill and a zone equipped with tables and benches for outdoor enjoyment.
A large arcade equipped with wooden table and chairs to relax, drink, or talk having a spectacular view on the tower of Vinci .

Half property made up of 4 apartments with independent entrance is about 500 sqm and offers an ideal location for family reunions and meeting of friends, sleeping up to 16-19 people in 9 separate bedrooms.
The whole property 1000 sqm is perfect to accommodate groups of 22-35 people.

The Tuscany region

Tuscany is famous for the cities of arts and the medioeval towns. You can reach the historical centre of Florence in less than half an hour (by car or with one of the frequent train leaving from Empoli railway station located just 5 km from here) as well as Pisa, Lucca, Pistoia, Siena and San Gemignano in less than an hour.
In the nearby you can find and visit famous wineries and wineshops (Chianti, Carmignano e Artimino).
If you like walking or cycling you can go amid olive trees up and down the hills
The Tuscan area is famous not only for arts but also for good wine and food: in the nearby there are a lot of good restaurants where you can appreciate our "cousine" and the Florentine meat.

How to get there

The countryhouse is in Vinci, the famous Leonardo's birthplace medioeval village, just 25 km far from Florence city centre
45 km from Pisa Airport
30 Km from Florence Airport

We're on the top of a Florentine hill but just 6 km from the highway so you can easily reach all the major Tuscan cities of arts.

To reach us by car:
From the A1 motorway, exit at Florence-Scandicci and continue on the state highway for Pisa (S.C.G. FI-PI-LI) to the Empoli Est exit. Guest arriving from Pisa should take the same exit.
Follow the road signs for Vinci/ Vitolini. Past the village of S. Ansano on the hill, you will come to a crossing with a tabernacle and a Madonna, follow the sign toward Faltognano, leaving the Madonna on your right.
After about 800 mt at the top of the hill, you are at the countryhouse

If you book the apartment a 30% advance payment by bank transfer will be required
200 € caution against damage at check in which will be returned before your departure
If you book the whole property a 30% deposit is required to make a firm reservation while
a 1600 € breakage deposit against damages is required at check in which will be returned to you after an ispection in the apartments and the inventory of all the equipments.
