Recently reformed in 2010 and carefully decorated, the apartment is located on the second floor (with a lift) and offers the perfect accommodation choice for a family or group of friends to go out and explore Florence's numerous treasures. It is just a ten-minute walk to the Duomo (Cathedral), San Lorenzo with its Medici Chapels, the Exhibition Centre, Fortezza da Basso fortress, the main train station Santa María Novella and the Central Market.
Air conditioning and independent heating is available throughout the apartment. The magnificent ceramic paving offers a wonderful backdrop to this cozy apartment with two bedrooms, both furnished with single beds that can be joined to make a double if necessary. There are also two bathrooms; one with a large shower cabin and toilet, the other with shower and sink. The lounge has a large television and comfortable sofa, the living room has a beautiful walnut wooden table and chairs for enjoying comfortable mealtimes, and an American-style kitchen with fridge, gas cooking rings and electric oven for guests to prepare their favourite home-cooked dishes. There is also a small balcony with views over the city rooftops and the San Marcos Church; a beautiful spot to enjoy a fabulous view and the ideal accommodation for a really unique stay in Florence.

Description: The centre of Florence was recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1982. It is located among a number of avenues within its former Medieval walls and is home to some of the most important cultural features of the city. The history of the city in this area dates back to the year 59 B.C with the construction of a village (Florentia) for the settlement of the soldiers of the Roman army. From this moment onwards it began to flourish. A number of different dominations have passed through its streets and are reflected in a great wealth of interesting architecture: Byzantine, Ostrogoths and Lombards for example. This was the birthplace of the Renaissance, and is known as one of the universal cradles of art and architecture where names such as Dante Alighieri, Brunelleschi (most important Renaissance architect) Boccaccio and Leonardo Da Vinci first appeared. Today the centre of Florence offers a whole range of cultural, tourist and leisure activities. It is considered a paradise for shopping and entertainment with top fashion boutiques, historical cafeterias and busy open air markets as well as numerous options for night life including clubs, discos, American bars and a variety of meeting places for an aperitif. The Piazza del Duomo is located at the heart of the city with the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, the Campanario de Giotto, and the Battistero de San Giovanni. A walk down to the river Arno leads to the Palacio Medici Riccardi, the Basilica de San Lorenzo de Brunelleschi and the Galleria dellAccademia that houses a number of famous works of art including the famous pieces of David de Michelangelo. Another worthwhile visit is the Piazza de la Santissima Annunziata with its Ospedale degli Innocenti, the very first orphanage in Europe and one of the very first Renaissance structures. Two very famous buildings, the Palazzo Vecchio and the Galleria degli Uffizi, are also just a short distance away, and an absolutely stunning must-see for any art or architecture lovers.
