Villa | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 5
The San Lorenzo Market in the center of Florence, just a stone's throw away from Piazza Duomo, is one of the best known and most popular areas of the city: it stretches from Piazza San Lorenzo, with its great Basilica and the Medici Chapels, all the way to Via dell'Ariento, also occupying all the surrounding streets. The colorful stalls and stores offer all kinds of products: clothing, leather items (bags, jackets and accessories), souvenirs and much more, along with traditional wine merchants' shops and taverns offering excellent Florentine cuisine at reasonable prices. In the center of this district is the Central Market, undoubtedly the best food market in the city, a huge covered pavilion which was built around 1870 using the most innovative materials of that era (cast iron, iron and glass). Inside the pavilion the numerous aisles, similar to little alleyways, make the market feel like a small town filled with stores offering a vast selection of extremely fresh, reasonably priced food products (meat, fish and vegetables). These two beautiful, recently renovated apartments are located on the third floor of a building situated directly opposite the Central Market, the throbbing heart of the city: bright, colorful and tastefully furnished, with wooden floors, beautiful modern kitchens, efficient bathrooms, air conditioning and TV in all the bedrooms, stereo (USB flash drive and Ipod compatible base), and Wi-fi internet connection. They have a small communal entrance which means that they can also be rented together. From the windows of the apartments it is possible to enjoy atmospheric views of the Medici Chapels, part of the Basilica of San Lorenzo and Giotto's bell tower. A perfect place from which to discover this city and its many marvels.
THIRD FLOOR (via lift/elevator): entrance into living room with single sofa bed, TV, stereo, dining area and kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave) and terrace with facilities on internal courtyard, corridor with large windows on the left overlooking the internal courtyard and, on the right, the following rooms: 1 bathroom with shower and 2 washbasins, washing machine/tumble drier, 2 double bedrooms with TV (the double beds in both rooms can be divided into twin beds, on request).
The windows of the bedrooms look out onto the buildings in one of the market streets, the Medici Chapels and part of Giotto's bell tower.

The Tuscany region
History, culture, natural beauty, crystal waters, dazzling beaches...and food to die for. Italy really does have it all. From Venice's architectural jewels in the north to Puglia's sun soaked olive growths in the south, there's something for everyone in this country of infinite variety.
Whether you choose to spend your time exploring the Adriatic Coast, with its white sands and dramatic promontories, or the gentle rolling hills of Umbria, where almost every view is reminiscent of a Renaissance painting, your time in Italy will be time well spent.
And let's not forget the Italian Lakes, whose serene and ageless splendour has beguiled visitors for centuries. As has the island charm and Sicily and Sardinia, two very different yet equally enchanting holiday destinations. Last, but by no means least, is there any other city on the planet that can match Rome for its combination of ancient history and cosmopolitan style?
Prepare to relax in the most enchanting surrounds you have ever seen...
The Italian countryside is the place to enjoy an authentic experience, to appreciate the real old traditional flavours, or just to watch life go slowly and peacefully by. The world famous towns of Florence and Siena, as well as many other beautiful, well loved Tuscan towns like Pisa, Volterra and Montelpulciano all within a short drive.
The Chianti countryside, where you will find many of Tuscany's most charming locations, such as San Gimignano, has been a popular destination for international travellers for many years and we are delighted to welcome them all to our portfolio.
