This apartment is located just in front of the Ponte Vecchio with a large strip window that overlooks the bridge and the river, the living area of this apartment is very spacious and comfortable, equipped with a sofa bed and traditional antique Tuscany furniture together with modern design made in Italy. Some paintings by Italian artists enrich the rooms simple and linear. The apartment belongs to one of those historic Florentine buildings, faithfully reconstructed along the Arno river.

The bedroom has a double bed or twin beds, overlooking a very quiet street.

The bathroom has some original parts of original apartment, and is equipped with a bathtub.

The kitchen is clean and simple nearby the living room, with the comfort needed to allow a breakfast not included in the offer.

The apartment is located in pedestrian area and reserve the ancient aspect of the middle age time, there are no cars, sometimes horse carriage use to cross the street under the windows. The area between Ponte Vecchio, Piazza Signoria, v. Tornabuoni is one of the most principal shopping area of the city, all important monuments are nearby by walk. In the square in front of the building take a place the famous Fusion Bar & Restaurant Art Gallery Collection, where there are musical events, art and special cocktails. In the street there are small wine bar with live music at aperitif time, very common in Florence, there are also pizzeria, restaurant, the Romans Church, and an old fruit and vegetable shop.

Florence

The Area of Ponte Vecchio is one of the most famous place in the city center of Florence. Nearby is located the Uffizi, the Piazza della Signoria Palace, the old Piazza della Repubblica, with his romans origin, the Duomo, and crossing Ponte Vecchio, take a place the Palazzo Pitti. The Vasariano corridor cross the Ponte Vecchio and connect the Palazzo della Signoria with the Palazzo Pitti. At the beginning of 2013 this area take a big change, many street are added to the pedestrian zone, which now appears larger and seems to be as in the middleage. Via Tornabuoni is the main street very famous for fashion, and people from everywhere come here to look at the fashion shops and have a shopping.

Florence, acknowledged by Unesco as a World Heritage Site, is home to some of the most famous works of art on earth. It is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, with an historical center which is itself an open air museum, given the overwhelming abundance of monuments, churches and palaces, mostly masterpieces of architecture.

Florence got its name from the Romans, in the I century, who founded a small settlement along the Arno river, not far from the Etruscan village of Fiesole, whose ruins can still be visited nowadays. They called it Florentia, the florid city.

And indeed florid it became. From 1200 to 1700 Florence was one of the capitals of art, culture and international trade of the civilized world. For over 500 years an incredible amount of work of arts was produced and collected in Florence, which is nowadays visited by no less than 8 millions of tourists every year. Sights such as Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi, the Ponte Vecchio, the gardens of Boboli and the magnificent Cathedral with the bell tower designed by Giotto are just a few of the sights not to be missed, along with a healthy Fiorentina steak on the bone and a glass of good Chianti wine.

"Perfect Location"

Couldn't get an apartment nearer to all the sights. Owner very helpful and friendly. Bathroom and kitchen a little tired, but shower was fine, bed was comfortable and apartment was clean and air … More
