Lovely apartment only two minutes’ walk from everithing you need . Its strong point is the location
Since you are in the heart of Florence, you are in a most prestigious position across the piazza from the Palazzo Vecchio.There are many places to shop and dine within Florence. Take the elevator down to caffe bars, restaurants, the Uffizzi, the open-air market at San Lorenzo; Ponte Vecchio all within walking distance.

Comfortably furnished in a style becoming of the prized and ancient palazzo it occupies, Signoria is also blessed with firm beds, screened windows and air conditioning in the living room and both bedrooms.

The Tuscany region

Tuscany is one of the twenty Regions of Italy. The capital is Florence. Tuscany is known for its landscapes but also for their cities . Pisa for example with its terrific tower , Lucca near the sea and of course Siena with its landscape . Do not be missed to visit the town Monteriggioni ,the historical centre of San Gimignano and why not have a wine tour in Chianti's aerea!

Florence / Central Florence area

There is always somenthing to do in Florence !
The best-known site and crowning architectural jewel of Florence is the domed cathedral of the city, Santa Maria del Fiore, known as The Duomo. The magnificent dome was built by Filippo Brunelleschi. The nearby Campanile tower (partly designed by Giotto) and the Baptistery buildings are also highlights. Both the dome itself and the campanile are open to tourists and offer excellent views.
At the heart of the city in Piazza della Signoria is Bartolomeo Ammanati's Fountain of Neptune, which is a masterpiece of marble sculpture at the terminus of a still functioning Roman aqueduct.One of the bridges in particular stands out as being unique — The Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge), whose most striking feature is the multitude of shops built upon its edges, held up by stilts. The bridge also carried Vasari's elevated corridor linking the Uffizi to the Medici residence (Palazzo Pitti).

How to get there

Fly to Florence -Signoria is in the centre of the town only 10 minutes from the Airport.
You can fly also to Pisa Cheap flights available from Ryanair.com from London Gatwich to Pisa airport.
From Pisa Airport direct train to Florence Santa Maria Novella Rail station .The “Firenze Santa Maria Novella” train/bus terminal is within a 5 min walk. The train line has connections to Rome, Milan, Bologna, Napoli, Torino, Genova. The bus line has connections to Arezzo, Lucca, Pistoia, Pisa, Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi.
There are always local taxis available - fare should be no more than 20 euros.

Signoria is a very tastefully appointed apartment with screened windows and air conditioning in the living room and the bedrooms.
