Apartment | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 6
We rent this apartment for short tourist stays in Florence. We normally ask for a minimum stay of one week. The apartment is located on the mezzanine of a building dating from the first decades of the last century, close to the railway station and the city centre, between Porta Prato and the Arno River. It faces a private street, far enough from the traffic to be quiet by night.
On the opposite of the building the flat faces a private and exclusive garden, a real joy for your spring, summer and early autumn evenings: two steps from the kitchen, it will allow you to have a romantic candlelit dinner under a mimosa tree and enjoy a bottle of good Chianti wine after a daily tour of the Renaissance art world.

The apartment offers 2 bedrooms for two people each, a living-dining room where other two people may sleep on a sofa bed, a kitchen fully equipped with four cooking stoves, oven, pots etc., kitchen table and dining room table for six people, bathroom and a wide entrance.
Some pieces of furniture are quite antique and the whole apartment still has old-fashioned household items (no Ikea items inside it!). Nothing has changed since the first decades of the last century when our beloved uncle Renzo was living in. Obviously we have recently repainted the walls and have taken care of maintenance of installations.
Linen and towels are available into the apartment as the whole housing equipment. Mind we are not a commercial tourist entity: due to the current Italian regulation we are not allowed to give you a direct personal service on the spot during your stay. You can require the weekly maid service by your own.

The flat is located just a few steps from the public pavement and there are no other steps or obstacles inside it. So it is surely suitable for the elderly. On the rear side there is the garden, exclusively for your use! We ensure it is a great value we are proud to offer in the middle of a crowded town like Florence is!
There is also an exclusive parking place for one car, in the fenced private street just in front of the main entrance of the building (see the photo) but it is not our property so we must ask for an additional daily rental fee.
We have a private website! ...You can find further information, many other pictures, details of the property, the contractual terms and the simple and automatic way to book the flat! This page gives only a brief description and you will find many other information on it! The link is in the “contact owner” area at the bottom of this page.
Please visit it if for no other reason than it shows many enthusiastic reviews from our previous guests!
We rent preferably from Saturday to Saturday but are quite elastic.
The Tuscany region
Magenta apartment is located on the west side of Florence not far from the main roads which can lead rapidly to other important tourist goals in Tuscany.
We could make a long list of beautiful places to visit in Tuscany by car with a daily trip but we would need an entire page to show them all. So let us write only some suggested places: Siena, San Giminiano, Colle Val D'Elsa, Volterra, Vinci, Pistoia, Lucca...and then all the beautiful places of the Chianti area. The Magenta Apartment is also at walking distance from the railway station and daily trips are recommended (E.g.: Arezzo or Bologna).
Florence needs no presentation. Magenta Apartment is located at walking distance from the border line of the Renaissance world of art. You can walk and reach the north bank of the Arno river and then approach the city centre on foot enjoying a unique panorama, otherwise near Porta Prato, just round the corner, there are the bus stops.
