Just 23 Km from Florence, Podere Il Poggiolo is surrounded by the typical olive groves and vineyards of the Tuscan hillsides. The owners, Serena and Alessandro, personally take care of the guests’ reception as well as the catering. Accommodation is provided in the three comfortable and well furnished apartments. The farming establishment produces extra virgin olive oil, wine, fruit, vegetables and other small fruits all using ICEA certified organic methods. The relatively small size of the agriturismo establishment mean that it is the ideal place for the tourist who seeks a little peace and quiet being close to the Tuscan cities of Art. It is also perfect for families and couple in honeymoon holiday. The apartament Lavanda is a bilocal composed in : 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with sower and 1 diningroom with kitchenette and double sofàbed. If you need you can have a single bed or a cot more

The Tuscany region

Our farmhouse is in Chianti Rufina area, 23 km from Firenze and 3 km from the nearest train station.
It is immersed in the characteristic olivegroves and wineyards of the florentine hills.
It is 1 hour from Siena and Arezzo, half hour from Firenze centre and 1 hour and half from the see side

The farm has wonderful view on Chianti Rufina valley and on the olivegroves and wineyards. Nearby you find the famous "way of the wine" and the Museum of the wine.
At 15 km you find a lot of outlet like Gucci, Dolce and Gabbana, Armani and Prada.
Nearby Caracteristics villages and monastery, splendid paths to walk and to go by horse......

We are 35 km from Firenze airport and 3 km from Rufina station train
In Firenze airport or in Firenze station train youcan rent a car, price more or less euro 40 per day.

If you are a prospective guest, I am hopeful my comments might save you some time in your research. I manage 8 resort rental properties in the USA and have owned resort rental property for 36 years. I know the right questions to ask. First set forth your requirements. I am going to tell you ours, and if we don't match up, stop reading and search elsewhere: apartment for two, very clean, high quality furnishings, modern shower, full kitchen, a view, a host that speaks English, knows where and what to eat and well versed in the area to offer recommendations for day trips, central location in Tuscany, reasonably priced rental-wise and the ability to check email easily on site without dragging along your laptop. Assuming you are still reading we searched 28 rental properties on the web, taking over a month, looking at 100s of pictures, asking many questions etc. Podere II Poggiolo is the BEST.
