Mugello is rich in history and artistic expressions. It has existed for centuries in the shadow and under the rules of the city of Florence, The Medici family, whose origins lie in Mugello, have left many signs of their dominance in castles, estates and palaces Here you can discover medieval towns such as Vicchio, Borgo San Lorenzo, Scarperia, San Piero a Sieve, Vaglia e Barberino di Mugello.
Le Villorelle" is also a good starting point to reach Florence. Florence is only 40 kms from the property and is reachable by two panoramic roads or by train. The train takes less than one hour from Vicchio to Florence Central Station (Santa Maria Novella).
You need a very short time to reach the other cities of art such as Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa Lucca, Arezzo.

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
Only a few kms from here you can fish, ride a horse, play tennis and golf, go canoeing, sail at the Bilancino lake or even visit the international Autodrome of Mugello. If you love the strong emotions, there is also a flight centre for gliding or light planes.
Finally, those who love shopping can visit the outlet stores at "The Mall", where you can purchase many designer brands at discounted prices.
There are a lot of festivals, markets and events in Mugello, like the "Fiera Calda" of Vicchio during the last week in August. It is an exhition of artcraft, antique trade, art and agriculture with marketstalls and refreschments . Every evening there is a concert or theatre play in the open.

Each house has satellite TV, garden forniture, barbecue, working open fireplace and a large private garden or terrace. the houses "I Cipressi" e "La Pergola" have beamed cellings and terracotta floors. Parking is close to the house. There is 1 km of unmade road leading to the property.

"LA PERGOLA" 130 m2 for 10 people on 2 livels. Ground floor: 2 living/dining rooms, 2 kitchen-corner, 2 sofa beds, garden and private large terrace 100 m2. Upper floor: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower, panoramic delightful terrace 30 m2 (very private). Price euro 740,00/1290,00. La Pergola consists in 2 separated appartaments (4+6) next to each other. It is possible to book also only one of two.
