About the home

I have the pleasure to present my home, BELLA wellness home ideal for marvellous holidays in Florence.
It is a peaceful, fascinating charming place where you can "taste"Florence and its history with a magic touch o modernity. The home has an antique wooden ceiling, with gold-leaf decorations. A fountain (16th century) is situated in the bedroom where the large windows are decorated with velvet curtains. Bathroom and full equipped cooking corner (bedroom level)

The wellness area is a must; something rare in Florence and very usefull after the "tressing" tours around the town. It is composed by a duble Jacuzzi and a special area with gym machines.
The location is a charming street in the hearth of Florence.

You will have all the comfort of a 5 stars accommodation and all the comfort and privacy of a fascinating ancient home.

The house is fully furnished with antiques and rich fabrics. Every comfort has been thought: Italian and American coffee maker, hair dryer, towels, luxury towel lines, very confortable pillows and mattress

Every detail tells a special atmosphere that we breathe inside of BELLA. The holiday begins in the house where you stay. Sleeping into historic location allows us to appreciate and understand much better the charm of my beautiful city.

The house is also a place to relax thanks to the silence and the beautiful relaxation area equipped with a whirlpool tub for two and some gym equipment.

After a day of nice walks BELLA adds to the holiday home a calm and comfort that you need to find new energy. In the evening, a few steps, you can find many restaurants also very popular with the Florentine is one of the most real of Florence, full of angles and suggestions, near roads with funky stores for large purchases but also to find unusual items.

Conditions

We request a deposit of 30% by bank transfer. The balance of cash on arrival.

A deposit of 200 euros payable on arrival which will be returned at the end of your stay

The Tuscany / Firenze Province region

Between San Lorenzo Market, the Duomo and the Academy Gallery.
the Fortezza da Basso is located at a short walking distance, and this is the venue of the man and woman fashion shows of Pitti Moda.

The Cathedral (Duomo) is only 5 minutes on foot, and the Uffizi Gallery is about 12 – 15 minutes.

The very famous San Lorenzo Market, with its kiosks of clothing and the large indoor food market is only two blocks away, and represents the most lively area of the town, abundant with small, characteristic restaurants where the Florentines, lovers of good traditional food, go. In the same area, only 5 minutes on foot it's possible to visit the church of San Lorenzo and the Medici Chapels.

Boutiques like Armani, Prada, Gucci, D&G, and Valentino, are less than 15 minutes away between the Cathedral and the magnificent Piazza della Signoria, which is next to the Uffizi Gallery.

The Ponte Vecchio offers a romantic view of the city from the river, and you only have to cross it to see the Pitti Palace and its Boboli Gardens, besides the splendid Carmelites Church and its Brancacci Chapel.

Florence is an enormous museum and gallery, and it's easy to find art treasures turning any corner in the centre of town. After the Uffizi, after the Academy, the Duomo, the Bargello, Palazzo Pitti (www.firenzemusei.it) and Cathedrals like Santa Croce or Santa Maria Novella, our city also means other lesser-known sights.
Here we offer a short list of small places we love, where you will appreciate Florentine art and way-of-life.

The Florence / Central Florence area

Train station in Florence: Santa Maria Novella is about 10 minutes on foot, 3 min. by taxi (about 10 euros) Taxi station in San Marco sq., 3 minutes walk

Bus station: in S. Marco square, walking distance less than 5 minutes.
The airport Amerigo Vespucci is 10 km away (about 20 minutes by taxi for a cost of about Euro 20.00).
Car rentals: train station
Byke rentals: train station
Florence by car: there's a garage situated at about 40 meters (Garage Sant'Orsola, tel. 055-281893) 20 euro about per day

Arriving in Florence
Florence is a small city.not necesary the car if you stay in the city. very good bus service links every part of the town
Good bus service links the main tuscany towns and villages. Train also is very easy and near to the home.
If you want to visit the sourroundings please asl me, I'll give you all suggestions in order to better arrange your trip and itineraries.
Siene; S.Gimignano, Pisa; Lucca, Arezzo are all very well linked and you can go there and visit in one day. There are also some very good organizations for all day long trips with busses

“Brilliant!” This is fantastic. I think for this price you cannot find any better. This historical (XVII Cen.) apartment is cosy, confortable, elegant and furnished with all you need and more (jacuzzi!) . It is located right at the center of Florence, 10 minutes walking from main monuments and sites and very close to one of the most beautiful romanic churches of all Christiantity: San Lorenzo.

“Wonderfull” The best place to enjoy love in a warm apartment. The site was the same as it was shown on their website. The owners gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home. to recommend

“Amazing stay !!” A perfect place to romantics holidays ! It was clean, the jacuzzi is wonderful. The flat is close to the city center, all is possible by walking. The owners give us a very warm welcoming. We highly recommend this rental !!!

“ENJOYABLE STAY” We stayed at the apartment for 4 nights in late July. The property was clean and beautifully presented with everything we needed for our stay. The bed was comfortable, and the A/C on the ground floor worked well providing a welcome respite from the outside heat. The flat is well positioned and close to the major sites. The property will be ideal for a couple on a romantic trip to Florence.

“A perfect place for a perfect time” Thanks a lot for your warm welcoming. We spent a lovely time. Our staying was so wonderful, the apartment is very close to monuments and museums and a very nice little place to dine and dream of all beauties of this wonderful city.

“place of our dreams” This was the place of our dreams! Wonderful central location- we walked in a few minutes to all the major attractions- Uffizzi, Duomo, San Marco etc. Made such difference- we could use every minute of our time and not worry about getting to places. Even time to go back home and have a relaxing lunch in between the sightseeing and hectic tourism -we needed it after all the crowds (Florence is crowded and you often have to queue). The flat inside is fantastic- wonderfully decorated and relaxing (there's even a Jacuzzi and exercise machine), and so convenient. Lots of space, well laid out and everything we needed from internet to washing machine, so we felt at home and comfortable. The owners spoke excellent English and were extremely helpful. Excelelnt value and we had a great relaxing time. A real treat- really recommend it.
