The Tuscany region
Florence, the legacy of a union between commerce and art, owes its existence to the Medici dynasty, who employed Leonardo and Michelangelo to lend artistic integrity to their business acumen. The sublime purity of marble in the Accademia stands testament to Michelangelo, while the masterpieces of Botticelli and Vasari are to be found in the Uffizi gallery. The great medieval city of Siena, lying in the rolling hills of the Chianti, is famed for its brief, but exhilarating Palio horse-race.
Pisa basks in the shadow of its leaning tower, while Lucca and Arezzo typify the medieval spirit of the region. Viareggio's Carnival is the most colourful in Italy and the island of Elba is a ferry-ride away. Tuscany's diversity and cultural influence makes it an ideal self catering holiday villa, cottage or Luxury apartment get away.
The historic centre of Florence contains elegant squares (piazzas), Renaissance palaces (palazzi), academies, parks, gardens, churches, monasteries, museums, art galleries and ateliers. The city has also been nominated, according to a 2007 study, as the most desirable destination for tourists in the world. The city boasts a wide range of collections of art, especially those held in the Pitti Palace and the Uffizi, (which receives about 1.6 million tourists a year).
Florence is arguably the last preserved Renaissance city in the world and is regarded by many as the art capital of Italy. It has been the birthplace or chosen home of many notable historical figures, such as Dante, Boccaccio, Leonardo da Vinci, Botticelli, Niccolò Machiavelli, Brunelleschi, Michelangelo, Donatello, Galileo Galilei, Catherine de' Medici, Antonio Meucci, Guccio Gucci, Franco Zeffirelli, Salvatore Ferragamo, Roberto Cavalli, and Emilio Pucci. *Source Wikipedia, for more information go to:
This being said, if you pick this apartment you'll be in the middle of it all. "Fantastic view, well equipped modern apartment"
I would definitely recommend this apartment for those who love to be at the heart of the city, want a magnificent view, and enjoy comfort. This accommodation provides all. The pictures on this site are not magnified, photoshopped - it truly looks like that. With the 2 bedrooms also ideal for friends or family. On a day trip we have met several other people who booked a hotel in Florence, and when we had shown them the pictures on our phone and told the price, they were amazed...

"What a find!!"
Stayed her for four nights for my wife's 50th Birthday. Great stylish apartment on the fifth floor RIGHT in the centre of Florence. The view of the Doumo and Campanile from the living room is incredible...never tired of looking at it. There is a small lift which was fine. Didn't see anyone else in the aparment block so it was really quiet. There was some noise from the street on Haloween but that's only to be expected. All the major sights are within walking distance and there is a taxi rank right outside the block which ws great when we left for the airport. The apartment has everything and we were met by Maximo who was very friendly and knowledgeable. Booking with Sandra was straight forward. There are abundance of restaurants all within walking distance. I would definatly recommend this lovely apartment and would stay here again should we return.

"Beautiful,central apartment in Florence"
This apartment is wonderful ,pristine, stylish with high end finishings, lovely comfortable sofa, comfortable beds.No expense has been spared in fitting out the apartment. The sitting room is lovely and bright with a great view of the Duomo and battistero. it is also surprisingly quiet apart from the Saturday when we ffirst arrived and there was lots of noise from the streets below. Yes there are lots of tourists around .
You are right in the centre . At first i thought i should have chosen a quieter side street but soon was perfectly happy with our choice. " minutes to cafe Gilli on Piazza della Reppublica for the most wonderful coffee cakes croissants and Italian vibe. Scudieri is a great cafe on the square and also 2 minutes away. The lift worked smoothly.
thank you from us to Sandra for the privilege of staying in this beautiful apartmen and to Diana for greeting us.
