The Mauritius West Coast/Flic en Flac region
The villa situated on the west coast of the small island of Mauritius. The west coast, being the driest, sunniest part of the island, is an ideal location for relaxing on the beach while also being in reach of other areas to explore. Features of the area include stretches of white, sandy beaches and, further inland, sugar cane plantations and mountains. Mauritius has the advantage of a subtropical climate. The heat is never to the point of being unbearable. There are two seasons,summer from November to April and winter from May to September.
Flic-en-Flac area
The villa is in a quiet area, yet only 5 mins walk to the beach. It is within walking distance of the shops, restaurants, and hotels. There is a supermarket (Spar) nearby, as well as nightclubs and a casino.
