Approaching the house you pass along a private drive with vines both to the left and right setting the scene to a private and peaceful property.

Outside the terrace and sprawling garden are enclosed by a stone wall and there is a beautiful ancient wrought iron gate leading to the river so parents can relax and children can discover and play in complete safety.

A boat is moored on the banks for your private use should you fancy a spot of fishing or simply just enjoy the river .

This will give you a taste of a memorable holiday which you will enjoy in this charming corner of France.

The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Gironde region

The location of this property is an ideal starting point to visit St Emilon ,Pomerol & many other famous vineyards of the area , plus beautiful bastide towns such as St foy la grande & Duras.

Arcachon and the Atlantic coat have a lot to offer . Beaches which stretch for miles ,Dune de Pyla - Europes highest sand dune , a lighthouse, boat trips , bird sanctuary , narrow gauge railway and course many restaurants dishing up freshly caught oysters , mussels fish and prawns.


Flaujagues area

Flaujagues is a pretty village on the river Dordogne , with it's tree lined square ,has a restaurant ,shop, post services , fresh bread in the morning & wines co-operative selling local wines.

For a true taste of French rural life , be sure to do some shopping at Castillon-la bataille on monday and the famous market of Sainte foy- la grande on Saturday , Libourne Tuesday ....

We recommended to visit Bordeaux and along the Dordogne valley : Bergerac and Sarlat .Local restaurants favour the traditional French cuisine !

*The family bathroom has a sink beautifully set into an old oak wine barrel.The toilet is separate.

"Le Priolet is a beautiful place to have a holiday.The accommodation is clean, spacious and well-equipped and the surroundings are lovely. There was plenty for the children to do and space for them to play. The manager of the property Peter was extremely helpful and welcoming. There are lots of lovely places to visit in the area. I would definitely recommend this property."
