Situated in a peaceful location, 100m from the town centre and only a 5 minute walk from the ski lifts, this newly refurbished apartment is surrounded by beautiful views from its own private balcony and has excellent facilities to cater for all. The shared facilities in the apartment include a swimming pool, sauna, ski/cycle storage room, and washing machine. There are cycle paths, easily accessible hiking routes, horseriding trails, a waterworld park and 2 lakes nearby providing lots of outdoor activities to enjoy throughout the summer, whilst in winter Flachau becomes a ski resort and is situated in the middle of Austria's largest single pass ski area, Ski Amade.

The Austrian Alps / Salzburgerland / Salzburgerland region
Flachau is situated in the Central European Alps. It is easily accessed via the A10 motorway, exit 66. Neighbouring ski areas include Wagrain, Alpendorf, Zauchensee, Altenmarkt, St Johann im Pongau and Schladmig (all within 15 to 25 minute drive). Nearby glaciers at Kaprun, and Dachstein (30 to 45 minute drive)
Flachau area
The home of Hermann Maier, Flachau is a mecca for snowsport enthusiasts. Nestled in the centre of Austria's biggest ski area, Ski Amadé, it boasts 840km of ski runs, x lifts and skiing to suit all levels. Flachau was the host resort in Salzburg's recent bid to hold the Winter Olympics. It hosts excellent snowmaking facilities and even heated chairlifts! It is the top of the region when it comes to eating out and nightlife, with live music every night of the ski season. In the non-skiing months, there are lots of outdoor activities, from golfing to hiking & biking trails. There is also still skiing available on 2 nearby glaciers. With Salzburg only 45 minutes away, there is haute couture shopping, and outstanding music festivals.
