Home description

This distinctive town house overlooks the West Coast of Barbados and although peaceful and quiet is a mere stones throw from the beach, local amenities, restaurants and duty free shopping. The property is a 15 minute drive from the capital city of Bridgetown and also in close proximity to the island's two brilliant golf courses Sandy Lane and Royal Westmoreland.

You are also 10 minutes away from Holetown with its colourful shops and many restaurants and bars. This town house is located at the end of a hillside cul-de-sac taking full advantage of the cooling trade winds and magnificent views.

And if you like water sports all you have to do is take the short walk down to the beach where friendly locals will assist with jet-skis, water-skiing, diving the coral reefs and even swimming with giant turtles (amazing!). Or if you prefer you can soak up the rays on the lovely roof terrace whilst watching sail boats and cruise ships travel up and down the coast.

The St James Parish region

* The white beaches of the West Coast is a mere 5 minute walk away. Other popular beaches (Paynes Bay, Browns Beach, Mullins Bay amongst many others) are all within easy reach.
* Holetown is a very charming village with shops, restaurants and bars (10 mins).
* Very close to the prestigious Sandy Lane golf course and the brilliant Royal Westmoreland golf course.

Fitts Village area

* Harrisons Cave is a spectacle not to be missed (30 mins).
* North Point with it's amazing views, complete with sea-spray (30 mins).
* The capital of Bridgetown is a 15 minute drive away.
* The Friday night fish market at Oistins is also great fun (30 mins).
* It will take you a little less than an hour to get to Bathsheba on the east coast, but this beautiful village set on the Atlantic side of Barbados is simply stunning.

* Flights to Barbados daily by Virgin Atlantic, British Airways and also BMI (Manchester)
* Grantley Adams is conveniently located a short 30 km drive away (ca 30 mins)
