This excellent well equipped four bedroom villa is situated in a private residence above the old wine-making village of Fitou. It has a secure area with 3 shared pools for the sole use of residents and holidaymakers. The village of Fitou is just a 15 minute walk away and has 4 excellent restaurants, a bar, a bakery and post office. Wine can be sampled or bought at any of the numerous wine caves, all of which are situated on the main street. The supermarket is a 5 minute drive away. Fitou has its own football stadium, a hard surface football/basketball court, a children's playground and a tennis court (all available for free public use).
Villa Juliana is just 10 minutes drive from the Villages of Leucate and La Franqui situated on the Mediterranean Sea. There is 200kms of sandy beach's to explore, 2 mountain ranges as well as numerous rivers, lakes and canals. The views of the nearby Lagoons and Mediterranean Sea are stunning!

25% deposit required at the time of booking. Balance payable 8 weeks before arrival.
Arrival is between 4pm and 9pm on day of arrival. Departure must be made by 10am. Saturday change overs.
The Languedoc-Roussillon / Aude region
The Languedoc-Roussillon is situated in France’s southernmost region bordered by Spain, Andorra and the Pyrenees Mountains. It is the hottest and driest part of France producing large quantities of wine. It offers magnificent beaches, large ancient towns to explore, like Perpignan (20 minutes), Carcassone (1 hour) and Montpellier (1.5 hours). Water sports including; wind/kite surfing, sailing, canoeing, diving and water skiing can be found on the coast, whilst activities such as mountain biking, rock climbing, horse riding, white water rafting, hiking and golf are also available nearby. The ski resorts of the Pyrenees Mountains are just a 90 minute drive away.
The local area has lots to offer such as the underground caves at Ville Franche, the little yellow train that travels up the Pyrenees Mountains, an African safari park, as well as a whole host of adventure and water parks.
Languedoc is an exciting region to visit at any time of the year!
The Fitou area

Leucate is the nearest main village from Fitou, which is about 10 minutes by car. There you will find numerous restaurants to suit everybody, pharmacy, bakeries, banks etc. It also has a large beach area with numerous restaurants and bars.

A lovely clean, comfortable villa with modern facilities and very well maintained on-site facilities. Everything was supplied at the villa that you may need, plus much more, including a very informative guide to the local region and activities. The restaurants that we tried in the area were incredibly friendly and accomodating, and served delicious food and wine, and the beaches we went to were beautiful and clean. Would recommend having the use of a car whilst on holiday here, especially with children. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it. |
