"Let down by their cleaner"
This is a hard review to write. The couple who run the site were really friendly and we enjoyed our time there a lot. However, there were some issues which prevent me from saying it was an excellent t… More
Just a quick message to thank you for taking the time to write a review.
I would like to comment about the hot tub firstly as I feel this is very important, we test our hot tubs every day to determine the cleanliness and chemical balance, if we have any indication that it is not absolutely right then it is emptied and refilled for our guests health. This process takes approximately 10hrs, whilst we do everything to ensure that the hot tub is hot for arrival we cannot guarantee this. Our T&Cs do advise this. The water quality is of utmost importance.
I have made enquiries with the guests before and after your stay as to the shower situation all parties of 4 adults and none have had a problem with the amount of hot water available. If you had advised us of a problem at the time we would have investigated.
All lodges have a card in with 3 telephone numbers and clearly states that if you require any assistance to please contact. We do respond to all queries as soon as we are aware and strive to correct any problems our guests experience immediately.
It came to our attention on your arrival that kitchen roll used for polishing the mirror in the bathroom had been left and also some sweet wrappers left in a glass dish. Discarded cigarettes on the decking. This was an oversight of which we were very apologetic and felt disappointed about.
We are glad that ultimately you enjoyed your stay, and wish you well with your future travels.
