Boat trips around the harbour and sunset cruises, a must is a cruise to Nelson Mandellas Robben Island. For sports Sea Point has a new Football Stadium, Newlands for Cricket and Rugby . The City is full of duty free jewellery and diamond, shops, plus the larger Store . Ideally situated for Golfing Holidays.

The Western Cape region

Summer is very pleasant with temperatures around 30o. Spring is mild with some rain. Autumn the whales can be seen in False Bay near Simons Town. Also a scenic train ride including breakfast on Bigsys can be made from Simons Town to Capetown following the coast line. Musuems and the historic Naval Dockyard and Antique Shops in Simons Town are worth visiting.

Fishoek / Capri, Fishoek area

Capri is a village that overlooks the mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. In March the huge Cape Argus cycle race passes close. Noordhoek has a thriving village with shops and the Nags Head Pub with good food and entertainment close to the start of the Famous Chapmans Peak leading to Hout Bay and another beach and sea food restaurants. Ideally situated to see the 8 WORLD CUP FOOTBALL GAMES + SEMI FINAL played in Capetown. The draw is being made in December and accommodation is in short supply

How to get there

The House is 45 minutes from Capetown International Airport to Capri Village which is close to Fishoek. A car can be arranged for transport to and from the house for the airport. The driver would be able to point out points of interest. Local car hire is advised and can be arranged.

A Double Garage and a Secure area for drying washing. A large wood burning BBQ is available to cook those large juicy steaks and karoo lamb. The upper patio has table and chairs for 6.You can sit outside and enjoy those coctails. whilst cooking. The garage contains a top loading washing machine and a ladies and gents set of golf clubs.

A local person with a car is available for International Airport transport from Arrivals and to Departures. Local Hire car can be provided and could be delivered to the house. Also to answer any questions you may have about the local area.

Conditions

Rentals not less than one week . A 25 % deposit is required 6 weeks before rental. A deposit of £100.00 is required for breakages and will be returned within two weeks of vacation of the property. No Smoking is allowed in the house, The telephone is by pay as you go, cheap International calls through call cards,and internet access from the Telkom Office in the Mall. Satallite TV is available ay extra charge but very expensive.
