The house itself was built in 1906 for the Captain of the very first Fishguard to Rosslare Mail Ship (SS St David). The 2 bedroom Garden Apartment is on the lower ground floor of the building, located in a conservation area in Goodwick near Fishguard, Pembrokeshire. We are right on the edge of the World Famous Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Goodwick is centrally located to St David's, Cardigan and the main market town of Haverfordwest.

The Apartment was fully refurbished to a high standard in 2013 and can sleep up to 4 people. It is fitted with smoke and fire alarms for your safety. The apartment consists of the following accommodation.

The Kitchen/Diner, has seating for 4 people, with a hob/oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and washing machine. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook a normal meal. There is a door leading from the kitchen to a private garden with patio area, barbeque and additional seating/dining area for 4 people.

Back inside, leading off the Kitchen are glazed double doors through to the Lounge where there is a four seater sofa, flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD player, plus a selection of books and board games for your entertainment.

Leading off the lounge is the good sized bathroom, which has a 3 piece suit with shower over bath.

The sleeping accommodation consists of a double bedroom with storage and a large second twin bedroom, which contains two single beds and a good range of storage.

Goodwick itself, has a good selection of shops including, a pharmacy, post office, pub, excellent cafe and award winning Fish & Chip shop. The apartment is just a 2 minute walk of all of these facilties and Goodwick bus terminal. It's only a 5 minute walk to Fishguard and Goodwick Railway Station, Goodwick Parrog, the Ocean lab visitors centre, Goodwick beach, garage and shops including a well stocked Tesco Express.

Just up the hill from Goodwick is its twin town, Fishguard, which has a leisure centre with a swimming pool and the Theatre Gwaun, which shows pretty much everything from film to theatre and music.

Pembrokeshire Coast National Park was recently voted the best holiday destination Worldwide by Lonely Planet, the second best Coastal Destination in the World by National Geographic, only narrowly being beaten by Newfoundland in the USA. Pembrokeshire also came 3rd in the Reuters top 10 Hiking trails in the World!

In 2014, Pembrokeshire beaches have been awarded 10 Blue Flags, 12 Green Coast awards. This part of Wales is a real paradise, breathtaking scenery, great beaches and abundant wildlife. Bird watching and opportunities to see and watch sea life are abound. Great for walkers, photographers, wildlife lovers and those that love all kinds of outdoor activities and beautiful scenery.

Goodwick is centrally located in Northern Pembrokeshire, being almost equidistant to all the main centres of Northern Pembrokeshire and borders of Cardiganshire, including St David's, Cardigan and the main county town of Haverfordwest, so makes for the ideal location for exploring Northern Pembrokeshire. Access to the Pembrokeshire Coast National is also only minutes away.

Goodwick itself has great transport links with the Fishguard and Goodwick railway station, Goodwick bus terminal and the Fishguard to Rosslare ferry termianal all being only minutes away from the Apartment.

Local amenities including an award winning Fish & Chip shop, great cafe which does a fantastic range of coffee, cakes and an amazing Sunday lunch. There is also a pub, pharmacy & grocery shop, all within short walking distance.

"New, confortable, full equipped, appartment with helpful hosts. We could stay there much longer.."
