The Western Cape region
"The fairest Cape", as Sir Francis Drake noted in the 17th Century, is a hotspot for biodiversity. With more floral species on the Cape Peninsula than in the entire United Kingdom, the Cape offers wonderful hiking opportunities, stunning beaches with possibilities for watersports like surfing and kitesurfing, kayaking, snorkelling and scuba diving.
There are world famous wine farms and restaurants within easy driving distance from the apartment, plus a variety of golf courses.
Fish Hoek is famous for its relaxed lifestyle and beautiful beach, as well as easy access to the stunning natural surroundings. With its diverse shops, boutiques and restaurants, one does not have to travel far to find everything one needs here. Cape Town (a half hour drive away) is a melting pot of different cultures with busy pubs, cafes and eateries.
There is plenty of activities to do in this beautiful resort. The wildlife is beautiful. Spend the day bird watching and see hundreds of different species or head to the beach and watch out for sightings of the local whales.
Go cycling or on hikes round the stunning surroundings or even indulge in the local history and visit the local museums.
