Home description
Haus Lowe was built in December 2004. It has 5 self catering apartments sleeping up to a total of 20 adults (2 x two bedroom apartments, 2 x one bedroom apartments and a studio apartment. All apartments have private en-suite facilities. There is a small bar, heated ski room and private parking. Filzmoos is primarily a ski resort where you can ski in and out from the house. The ski hire shop and ski school are just across the road from the house. In Summer you can enjoy an endless amount of outdoor activities including mountain walking, mountain biking, climbing, horse riding, golf etc.

The Austrian Alps / Salzburgerland / Salzburgerland region
Filzmoos forms part of the Ski Amade Region where you can ski 860km of pistes with 270 lifts all on one ski pass. It is just 45 minutes south of Salzburg city where you can visit the birth town of Mozart and the historic castle. Filzmoos is a snow sure resort in Winter being referred to locally as the "schneehole" which means the snow hole. In Summer temperatures reach well into the 30's making this an ideal twin season resort.

There are many places of interest to visit i.e. Werfen Castle, Eisreisenwelt (Euros largest ice caves), Krimml waterfalls, Lichtenstein Waterfalls, Salt Mines, Berchtesgaten, Lakes, Dachstein Glacier, Go Karting, Summer and Winter Tobogganing, Outdoor and indoor swim parks, Thermal Baths, Mountain Bike Parks (new one in Wagrain Summer 2006) Grossglockner Highway, Kaprun and many more.

The garden is shared with the owners of the house. Also included is free entry to the Filzmoos indoor and outdoor swimming pool and saunas (5 minutes walk from the house). In Summer there are also 3 free guided walks included with Filzmoos Aktiv, our outdoor centre plus an introduction to Nordic Walking course.
Conditions
To secure a booking a non-refundable deposit of around 20% is required. Please note that all breakages must be paid for in full. Smoking is only permitted on balconies or outside the house.
