The Stables provides a peaceful rural haven for you to enjoy, the property is within easy reach of Filey town centre and the beach. The Stables is set well back from the road and there is ample parking. Enjoy any of the numerous attractions nearby during the day and upon your return unwind outside. This is an ideally situated property for four people who would enjoy a peaceful setting but within easy reach of numerous attractions.
Converted stables single storey split level property in a rural setting close to beach, cliffs, Brigg and amenities of Filey Town Centre. Within easy access to large number of attractions in the surrounding coastal areas of Scarborough, Whitby, Bridlington, Flamborough, Bempton and Robin Hoods Bay. Rural areas of the North Yorkshire Moors (Heartbeat land), Yorkshire Wolds and towns and cities of Pickering, Driffield, Beverley, York and Hull.
The Stables is well appointed throughout and retaining many original features. The Stables comprises of a garden with a paved sun area with seating and table, for summertime al fresco dining.
The centrally heated cottage with a log burner has a lounge/dining area where there is seating, a television and DVD. A fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge freezer and breakfast bar. Two large well appointed bedrooms comprising of a king size or double bed, bedside tables, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom.
Pets are welcome by prior arrangement with the owner before booking, as there is an additional pet fee incurred.

Filey - extensive golden sand beach and Coble Landing with fishing boats and Lifeboat station is a 20 minute walk away (5 minutes by car)
Enjoy cliff top walks along the Cleveland Way with splendid views from the Country Park
Visit the Crescent and. Glen Gardens. Stroll along the sea front for a pleasant evening or afternoon walk.
Queen Street holds a small local museum for a history of Filey.
The town centre has a Tourist Information Centre, restaurants, tea rooms, internet café, gift shops, pubs, Post Office, bakery, supermarkets (Tesco).
Rail and bus station with connections to Scarborough and Hull are approx. 1.3 miles from cottage.

Scarborough (approx 6 miles) - Stephen Joseph Theatre (of Alan Aykbourne fame), Cresent Art Gallery known for its collection of Atkinson Grimshaw oil paintings, Cinemas, Peasholme Park with its tranquil walks and boat rides close to the North Bay and the Open Air Theatre with events throughout the summer months, Castle and harbour.
Bridlington Sewerby Park with extensive gardens and small zoo, Burton Agnes stately home with interesting gardens.
Whitby - Fossils Jurassic Coast, Whitby Jet, smoke houses, Dracula, Abbey
Ravenscar & Robin Hoods Bay - quaint seaside village reported to be the busiest smuggling community in Yorkshire during the 1800's (I believe they're far more honest in modern times!).
North York Moors Rail - Pickering to Goathland steam train (Hogwarts Express for Harry Potter fans)
North Yorkshire Moors - enjoy the stunning landscape of the moors (Heartbeat land).
Flamborough & Bempton White Cliffs (approx 10 miles) fabulous views and coastal features as well as the Bempton RSPB reserve with the only mainland Ganet colony, puffins and many other sea birds is a bird watchers paradise.
Beverley - Michlin Star restaurant 'Pipe and Glass' - thinking of a truly wonderful evening of superb food and drink in a warm relaxed restaurant for a special occasion or simply as a holiday treat.
York - fantastic shopping not to mention the Minster and Castle Howard which has various events throughout the year.,

"Stay here, you won't be disappointed."
Just returned from staying at The Stables. It is exactly as described. Modern stylish and very clean and comfortable making it a very pleasant place to stay. Would advise car due to location but only … More

"A relaxing break"
Comfortable ,roomy and clean accommodation in a quiet,rural setting not far from town and beach.A car is advisable.The furnishings are modern and there is an easy to light log fire should you need it.… More
