Number 8, Filey Holiday Bungalow, is an impressive, accessible, self-catering, semi-detached accommodation featuring contemporary stylish features & free WiFi. It has a pretty, south facing rear garden with a large, raised decked patio area, accessed either via a short ramp or through low threshold patio doors.
Number 8, was rewired & refurbished in time for its launch in SPRING 2013. The owners made a conscious decision to create a holiday let that was both aesthetically pleasing & accessible.
Providing those extra little touches, Number 8 is perfectly & conveniently placed in a quiet cul de sac for both relaxing & active holidays or short getaways.
Number 8 offers the ideal accommodation for a family holiday, a memorable short break, quality time with friends, or a romantic retreat. All rooms are accessed at street level so Number 8 is ideal for buggies & pushchairs etc.

Lounge - 40 inch HD flat screen TV with freeview, DVD, VHS & CD players, a large 3 seater cream leather sofa with matching chair & footstool. Books & games are available
Bathroom - bath with flexible shower over, toilet & a semi-pedestal straight fronted wash basin.
Master Bedroom - King size bed, fitted wardrobes, 2 bedside cabinets & a hairdryer
Second Bedroom - 2 single 3ft M&S beds, 1 tall single wardrobe, 1 chest of drawers & 1 bedside cabinet placed between the 2 beds. Low threshold patio doors lead onto the partially enclosed decked patio.
Outside driveway parking for 2 cars & patio garden. Lockable garage houses a chest freezer. Garage is ideal for storing bikes, surf boards, fishing tackle etc.

Situated on Filey Bay with its 5 mile golden sandy “blue flag” beach on the beautiful Yorkshire Coast, it is an ideal destination for couples & families alike. Filey is an ideal place for both relaxing & active holidays or short getaways.
Number 8, Filey Holiday Bungalow, is located in a quiet cul de sac on the Country Park Estate, in close proximity to the Cleveland Way & North Yorkshire Coast. It is also adjacent to the Country Park, & only 10 minutes walk away from the beach & town centre. A bus & railway station are conveniently placed in the town. Number 8 is an ideal base to explore Filey, the East Coast & visit the nearby coastal towns of Scarborough, Bridlington & Whitby.
Number 8 is approx. 200 metres from the footpath, which runs through the Parish Wood that leads to the Cleveland way, a 10 minute walk away. This pleasant walk takes in a wide variety of habitats, coastal woodland, wild flower meadow & rough grazed pasture. At the top of the path you will see the cliffs, on the sea coast, where sea birds nest & perch. For the adventurous explorer, turn left & walk to Scarborough & beyond, even to Helmsley, 108 miles away!! Those just requiring a short, picturesque walk can turn right & walk down to the stunning Filey Bay.
During your holiday in Filey you can take part in traditional beach based activities such as sun bathing, swimming, surfing & ball games, or explore the rock pools & watch the world go by. In addition you may wish to watch the fishing fleet & visit the Lifeboat station on the Coble Landing. Walking, bird watching, fishing & golfing are very popular pursuits in this area. Anglers can be seen casting their rods from Filey promenade & off the rocks at Carr Naze & Filey Brigg. For the golfing enthusiast, Filey is blessed with a local golf course & stunning views over the bay. (Roy, the owner of Number 8, & a member of Filey Golf Course, will be happy to make up a 2 or 4 ball. Just ask.)

This is a lovely bungalow, on a quiet residential estate. Within walking distance to the beach, Filey town and the beautiful country park. The bungalow is all freshly decorated with a well equipped modern kitchen, two good sized comfortable bedrooms, large living room and a lovely garden. The owners Roy and Carol are most helpful and very friendly. I would highly recommend this bungalow.
