Flamborough Holiday Cottage stands ajoing Filey Cottage (part of Mill Farm Cottage complex) and has magnificent views out over the fields towards Flamborough Head.

Before heading off to Filey Bay's glorious beach on a morning why not sit out on the private patio,accesed from french doors of the lounge area and watch the sun rise in the morning over the white cliffs and sea.Or on an evening enjoy a outside barbeque.

There is plenty of parking for up to two cars per cottage and parking is next to the cottage so no long distances to walk to the cottage.

Flamborough Cottage is a 3 bedroomed cottage and is able to sleep 6 people easily.There a 2 double bedrooms and one twin.The double room has a ensuite shower room and here is a house bathroom with a bath and shower for the other two rooms.
The ground floor is open plan with a large lounge together with kitchen and dining area.There is an entrance vestibule with a boot area together with a downstairs toilet.The lounge has a large flat screen TV , three double sofas and patio doors out to a private seating area.

The cottage has full central heating and with its added extras, including Wine and Chocolates on arrival for stays of more than 2 nights, guests can enjoy the luxurious accommodation of a hotel stay yet the independence and peace of a self-catered break. The Northern England / Yorkshire/Yorkshire Dales region

The Yorkshire Moors and Coast offer a whole host of activities for all the family. The cottage is ideally located for days to the Filey beach (a quiet 20 minute walk along the bridal path and back), coastal walks along the cliff top along the Cleveland way, or inland to enjoy the spectacular scenery.
Filey itself offers a whole host of activities, including Sailing, Tennis, Bowls, Restaurants, Teashops etc, whilst further afield Dalby Forest offers Mountain Biking and Walking a plenty, with nearby Scarborough, Bridlington, Hull and York offering further attractions including the Sealife Centre, Open Air Theatre, Scarborough Castle, Bridlington Spa, the Deep Aquarium, the National Railwway Museum, York Racecourse, Yorvik Centre and Flamingoland Theme Park and Zoo.

The Filey area

Filey itself offers quiet traditional seaside breaks, offering a 5 mile blue flag award winning beach where water sports are popular, including sailing, swimming, body boarding and surfing (own equipment needed). Walks along the promenade and brigg are always popular, as well as the cliff top Cleveland Way providing stunning views.
The Edwardian town also offers tennis possibilities, with well cared for free grass and hard courts, as well as a bowls green, and pedaloes, canoes, crazy golf and trampoling in the Glen Gardens.
The town offers a range of cuisine, including traditional English fare, Italian, Indian and Chinese; plus numerous teashops and fish and chip shops!
Popular events within the town include the Filey Festival (late June), Filey Regatta (14-15 July), Filey Lifeboat Weekend (21-22 July), Muston Scarecrow Festival (10 minute walk from the cottage-the whole town puts on an array of varying Scarecrows from traditional to well-known celebrities!- 28 July-5 August), Filey Fishing Festival (1-9 September).

Mill Farm Holiday Cottage is located just off the A1039 main road into Filey, with easy access from the A64 and A170. Please use postcode YO14 0HH for the Satnav.
Public transport is also easily accessible, with a bus stop only 50m away from the cottages, as well as the Train Station providing links from either Scarborough or Hull directions only approx 800m away.
The nearest airport is Leeds Bradford international airport, which is a 1 1/2 hour drive away.

“FANTASTIC... The perfect place for a great seaside holiday” This cottage is GORGEOUS. It is brand new and feels like a real cut above the other rentals out there. It is tastefully decorated but remains cosy and welcoming and generally a really nice place to spend some time away. It is situated just outside Filey (about a mile?) but is in a perfect location. There are no parking worries like there are right in the town centre but it remains close enough to walk if it is a fine day, otherwise it is literally about a 2 minute drive to the beach. The cottage is surrounded by fields and there is plenty of space in the garden for children to run around safely or adults to sit out when the weather is nice. The booking procedure/communication was hassle free and the owners respond quickly to enquiries. After spending a lovely long weekend there we have have already re-booked for our summer holiday next year - I cannot recommend it enough.
