Head North - Fantastic Beaches and Coastline;-

Scarborough, take a stroll around the ruins of the castle, a brisk, bracing walk around Marine Drive, a ride on the North Bay miniature railway up to Scalby Mills and the Sea Life Centre, or perhaps you'd prefer to take a boat around the lake in Peasholm Park.

Visit Whitby with its Whale Bones and old and new sides of the town, cross the bridge to the old town and its cobbled streets lined with pretty shops selling gifts, jewellery and artwork. If you are feeling fit you can walk the 199 steps up to the Abbey.

Visit the small and quaint fishing villages of Robin Hood's Bay, Runswick Bay, and Staithes

Head South:-

to Bridlington for its' sandy beaches, pleasure cruise rides, speedboat thrills, John Bull Rock and Sewerby Hall and Zoo.

Hornsea, sea front or for a bit of shopping, Hornsea Freeport

Head inland:-

Visit Burton Agnes Hall and Gardens and step back in time.

York, for the ultimate day out, river cruises, walk around the walls, shopping, afternoon tea, the railway museum and a plethora of museums, historic houses and visitor attractions.

Pickering and North Yorkshire Moors, take the steam train on the NYM Railway which runs between Pickering and Whitby.

There is something for everyone !

"Review of Seascape Filey"

We had a 4 night stay & found the cottage a home from home, warm & spotlessly clean. The facilities were excellent both in the property & the Gym, Sauna & Swimming Pool. We enjoyed a game of pool at the onsite Pub & restaurant. We took the short walk down to the beech & walked into Filey which was wonderful. We were very lucky with the weather for November, having clear, bright sunny days, a nice treat. We would definitely recommend this to our family & friends & we look forward to returning shortly.

"Fantastic holiday home perfect location"

Just returned from a lovely break staying at Seascape. It is in a fantastic central location to visit local places like Filey, Bridlington & Whitby. Would recommend this holiday house to anyone, it is like a home from home. Hope to visit again soon. Thanks to Fiona.

"Lovely spacious open plan family holiday home"

Excellent swimming pool which is included in the price, which also has sauna and steam room, also good size baby pool.
Very good cafe/bistro next door to pool which does tasty pizza and pasta. Nice walk to beach. Not too far from filey, scarboro and bridlington.
Already recommended to friends and family.

"Much better than staying in a hotel!"

We likened The Bay Holiday Village to ' The Truman Show' film - all rather perfect!
Having the basics there (salt, vinegar, dishwasher tabs, wash powder etc), towels supplied and beds made up took all the hassle of self-catering away leaving the benefits.
We took a lovely ten minute walk directly on to the beach then a 35 minute walk along the clean sand into Filey for a cappuccino on the beach.
A swim, steam and sauna (just 2 mins away) added to the luxury as did the extra tv in the bedroom.
