Home description
This privately owned apartment is ideally situated with only the promenade separating it from the sandy beach. The balcony with 40m2 terrace overlooks the swimming pool then the sea and it is fabulous to sit out there to eat or drink and admire the view. The apartment sleeps 4 people. It has a double bed in the bedroom and a sofa which forms 2 single beds in the lounge area.These can be separated during your stay to provide extra seating if required The apartment has just been fitted with a new kitchen and has had various other improvements carried out before being let out this year

The Ibiza region
Ibiza is a beautiful island with many pretty, unspoilt beaches. The island averages about 330 days sun a year on which to enjoy its blue skies and clear warm sea. A very good bus service runs from Ibiza town to all parts of the island (the bus station is in a road called Isador Machabich, only10-15mins walk away ) If you feel like a change from the beach, the interior of the island offers hilltop views,pretty villages and a more relaxed Spanish atmosphere. The old town at Ibiza has a wealth of interesting buildings including an old cathedral at the top of the hill There are plenty of bars,restaurants & some clubs in this area.The atmosphere is buzzing in the evening when the outdoor seating at the restaurants gets busy and the street stalls are selling jewellery, clothing etc
Figueretas area
Figueretas has a long curved bay with sandy beach with sunloungers and shades to hire and cafe/restaurants. In the evenings there is a small hippy market with stalls selling their wares. A bowling cafe is a few minutes walk away Buses run from just outside the apartment every half an hour. They leave their terminus at Ibiza Town or Playa D'en Bossa on the hour and half hour. An inexpensive boat trip leaves from the promenade each day to Formentera, a nearby island with long sandy beaches & clear seas. There are pedeloes & watersports nearby
How to get there
Many airlines fly directly to Ibiza the flight being between two & 2 and half hours. Easyjet.co.uk & Thomsonfly.com are worth try On arrival, a taxi to the apartment takes about 10 mins & costs around 12 euros

Water Park at Playa D'en Bossa Les Salinas Beautiful beaches where beautiful people go. Portinatx a pretty beach at top of island San Antonio Bay It is possible to get a bus or boat trip to this port from Ibiza .Good for shops & beaches Bowling alley nearby English Speaking church at St Eulalia or St Raphael alternate Sundays 11 am

The location of the apartment is a great asset and there is a bar & restaurant downstairs by the pool which is a nice place. Figueretas is definitely the prime location for any holiday maker ,as we have been to San Antonio, & St Eulalia as well. It is the perfect spot, close to Ibiza town but out of the populated areas, so its relaxing & a quick & cheap bus ride to other bustling places Jodie & Tamara summer 06
What a beautiful spot ! Especially as I sun myself on the balcony with a well maintained pool before me framed by lovely palm trees & a few metres beyond that, the sea . What couldbe better ; so accessible with shops nearby too. I can heartily recommend this place as a pleasant 'get away from it all' break. June W May 07
