The villa is situated on Torremirona Golf Parc, 7kms outside Figueres in the Emporda Region of Catalonia and within close proximity to the Costa Brava beaches of Roses, Platja Canelles, I'Escala and Cadaquez. Other beautiful beaches include Begur and Palafrugel, 45 minutes by car from Torremirona for a lovely day out. Figueres is home of the Dali museum and still has cobbled streets around the town square. Only 17kms from the French border, visits to French winelands, Carcassonne castle and Perpignan can be one day excursions.
Golf lovers can also enjoy playing on any of the 6 PGA golf courses in the area - all between 15 and 45 minute's drive. The apartment itself boasts sweeping views of the golf course on one side, while to the right hand side of the resort you can enjoy breathtaking panoramas of the mountains and the lush green countryside. There is a spa and a hotel on the estate. The Torremirona hotel has a top quality restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The region boasts many medieval villages such as Besalu and wonderful restaurants such as Kan Kiku in Llado, L'oca Pintada in Navata, or Kapitan's in Empuria Brava.

The Costa Brava/Catalonia region
The Emporda region is steeped in history. There are many small mediaval villages, historical places of interest and restaurants. Nearby Figueres is home to the Dali museum and still has cobbled streets around the town square. Torremirona is one hour's drive from Barcelona, one hour and twenty from Barcelona airport and 30 minutes from Girona airport. Also situated 17kms from the French border, visits to French winelands, Carcasonne castle and Perpignon are one day excursions.
Figueres / Torremirona area
Figueres is the nearest town which has fashion stores, restaurants and the Dali museum. Cadaques is an hour's drive over a mountain pass where visitors can stroll through the cobbled streets, laze on the beach or visit Dali's home. Besalu is a medieval village 20 kms away. Empuria Brava is a town built on a system of canals with a boating community. The area is very popular with golfers as there are at least 6 golf courses in the area.

How to get there
From Barcelona airport take the A7 to France, pass Girona, and take the Figueres Exit 4, then follow signs to Olot and Navata along N260 and Torremirona is 7kms along the N260. From Girona airport the directions are the same on the A7. There is a train from Barcelona airport which takes one and a half to two hours to Figueres and taxi's are available at the station. A car is essential if you are wanting to explore the region.

The kitchen is fully equipped. Linen is provided and changed weekly. Additional linen is available on request at a cost of 100 Euros for 4 bedrooms.

Bookings will be held for 7 days or until the payment is made in full. If no payment is received, the booking will be cancelled and offered to the next client. Breakages will be charged for and an inventory will be done when you arrive and again before you leave.
