The rustic setting overlooking surrounding vine fields is a perfect family base for exploring and tasting the real flavours of Provence.The charming and ancient village of Figanieres is perched two kilometers away and can be easily accessed through the vine fields or local roads.

The Villa has 3 bedrooms, (2 with double beds and the third with two twin beds). Open plan Lounge/Dining area with large dining table which seats 8-10 people, comfortable sofas, TV/Stereo, wood-burning fire, French Doors leading to garden and patio areas. The Provencal kitchen is fully equipped with all modern facilities : oven/hob, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, etc. Bathroom with wc/wash-hand basin/shower.
The Apartment is bright and spacious with one double bedroom, lobby and new Bath and shower room. Spacious open plan Lounge Area and Kitchen ,with spiral staircase leading to mezzanine floor and another bedroom. French Doors lead to garden and pool area.

Ideally suited for up to 8 people, but smaller parties (up to six people)are welcome to exclusively rent the villa only subject to availability - see price schedules or contact owners.
20 % deposit on booking with balance due 1 month before arrival.
A refundable security deposit of Eu 200- is required.
The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Var region
The property is located in the foothills of the mountains, near the historic perched villages of Figanieres, Callas, Claviers and Bargemon. It is perfectly situated for accessing the beach, lake or rural resorts.
There are numerous excellent vineyards and restaurants close by. It is 15 minutes' drive to Draguignan, and approximately 30 minutes from the Cote d'Azur.
There are markets most days of the week in nearby villages and towns. The famous coastal holiday resorts of St Maxime, St Tropez, and St Raphael are all within 30km.
The Figanieres area
The nearest golf courses are at St. Endreol and Roquebrunne. Lac St Cassien has rowing, sailing and fishing facilities.
There are lively markets in the surrounding villages, and a large Sunday market at Le Muy. You can enjoy spectactular drives to Gorge du Verdon, Tourtour, Chateaudouble, Fayence and Mons.
The mountains are covered in woods of oak and pine, and offer interesting bird and wildlife watching.
You can take part in wine tasting in the many friendly surrounding wineries and there are plenty of excellent restaraunts in all the local villages and towns.

Fly to Nice Cote d'Azur Airport. Take the A8 Motorway direction Cannes and continue to Exit 39 (Les Adrets. Drive around Lac de St.Cassien and continue on the D562 towards Fayence, follow signs for Draguignan. Villa Clos Carolin is on the D562 immediately after the Restauant "le Cabanon"and before Figanieres.
You can also stay on the A8 and exit at Le Muy exit 36 and follow the signs to Draguignan,Le Motte, Figanieres.
Cheap flights available to Marseilles (about one and a half hours) and Hyeres (Toulon) Airport (about 40 minutes). The A8 also links these airports to Le Muy (exit 36 and then follow the signs to Draguignan,Figanieres)

We spent four wonderful weeks here in autumn, which was a great time to visit the Var - uncrowded, with mild weather.
