"wonderful sunshine, home from home"

We stayed with 3 teenage daughters and various selections of our/their friends for 7 weeks! it was a wonderful trip and we remember it all so fondly. We rented the villa and attached guest house for the duration. There was so much to do locally without having to travel for more than 45 minutes in any direction, and despite our long stay we still didn't see everything. We all got to know the local restaurants and market stall owners in Figanieres and the local villages, picked figs and made jam, spent days on the beach in St Maxime and on the islands, swimming and boating in the lake and rarely felt anything other than totally relaxed and at home in this warm hospitable corner of Provence.

The villa is presented as a home, as far removed from 'rental property' as possible, with so much more in facilities, equipment and comfort than we could use. The photographs do not do it justice. Philip and Ann are so welcoming, and made every effort to ensure our stay was delightful, including providing access to their wonderful Amandine the housekeeper, who speaks excellent English and on whom we had to rely to translate boat repair terms into French for the St Maxime Marina!

It was a wonderful experience, and education for our children and their friends, and we are looking forward to returning soon.

"It really doesn't get any bettter than this!"

Lovely house, with all mod cons in a great part of Provence Great pool and a large garden and plenty to see and do in the region ( or not, if you feel like doing nothing!) We've been coming here for 8 years now, and would find it very difficult to think of a holiday other than in Le Clos. It has become the yardstick by which all holiday accomodation is measured.
