The Chesterhill House Garden Apartment is a self catering apartment which is literally a few metres from the sea. Stunning panoramic views from the seawall at the bottom of the garden encompass Anstruther Harbour and Marina, the Firth of Forth and the Isle of May. The property is on the coastal walk and close to the local golf course, a safe sandy beach and only a few minutes from the fishing harbour and marina. It is an ideal centre for visitors to enjoy the many outdoor activities that the area has to offer.
Locally there are several excellent pubs and restaurants including Anstruther’s nationally acclaimed fish and chip shop. The Scottish Fisheries Museum is a popular and fascinating attraction which together with the local fishing boats, the yacht marina and the colourful seafront shops and properties give the town its unique character.
St Andrews is a mere ten miles away. Enjoy walking around the streets of the oldest University town in Scotland; strolling upon the almost infinite West Sands (famously depicted in ’Chariots of Fire’), and, of course, just being at ‘The Home of Golf’. There are six golf courses in the town with further dozen splendid venues nearby….golf galore! The nearest course is the seaside nine-hole course of Anstruther Golf Club, a mere 100 metres from Chesterhill House.

A stroll to the Anstruther waterfront is only minutes away; with its shops, restaurants, colourful buildings, and award-winning Fisheries Museum. Not forgetting the nationally acclaimed best UK fish and chip shop! Boat trips to the Isle of May, a nature reserve with colonies of seals and puffins, depart daily from Anstruther harbour from May to September.

Further details indoors: The recent restoration of the ground floor of this Georgian House provides high quality accommodation for five to six people, and offers a luxurious standard, both in design and furnishings, in a stunning seaside location.
There are three bedrooms which are well appointed and furnished to a high standard and consist of one double, one twin-bedded with zip-link beds and one single with an additional guest bed.
There is a bathroom and also a shower room with basin and WC.
The large comfortable lounge has a working fireplace and a flat screen TV. The lounge, together with the hall areas, have solid oak flooring.
The kitchen and dining area are located in the large conservatory adjacent to the lounge with doors opening to the garden and to the one car garage and laundry facilities.

A Good Housekeeping Deposit of £100 is required to cover breakages or any damage to the property. This will be refunded within 2 weeks of departure subject to inspection of the property.
25% deposit is required to book the property, with the balance due 6 weeks before arrival.
Arrival from 4pm Friday, departure by 10am Friday (except Christmas and New Year).
