About the home

Villa Annie is a spacious villa situated in the peaceful, unspoilt village of Ciftlik between the Mediterranean and the Toros mountains. It has three floors and a private swimming pool. The large terrace overlooking the pool has a barbecue area and is perfect for relaxing and al fresco eating, with beautiful sea and mountain views. First floor bedrooms have access to balconies with stunning views of the Mediterranean or the mountains.

This is a perfect villa for families and friends wanting to 'get away from it all' without being isolated. The villa is in the peaceful village of Ciftlik, set close to pine forests with stunning views, but only a short drive to restaurants, shops and sights.

Villa Annie is one of two detached private villas, each with its own private pool and garden. Each villa can be rented separately or both villas can be rented together, ideal for families and friends wishing to holiday together.

The villa has marble floors throughout and every room has air conditioning. The open-plan ground floor has a kitchen area with large fridge-freezer and spacious living area with sofas, TV/DVD player and table. Double doors lead out to a wide terrace which wraps round both sides of the villa as well as the front. The terrace has a separate dining area and barbecue, with plenty of space to sit and relax, taking in the peaceful ambience and beautiful views. Being set up towards the mountains, the slight breeze offers welcome respite from heat on summer days. There is a ground floor toilet/utility room.

On the first floor there is a large double bedroom with balcony and en suite bathroom, and a spacious twin bedroom with separate bathroom.
The second floor has a spacious twin bedroom and a bathroom.

Please note that towels are for indoor use only and you will need to bring beach towels.

Further details outdoors:
The villa is set in its own garden area with a private pool, 8m long and 4m wide. The pool has a graduated depth with steps to the shallower end.

Wide terrace with mountain views

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Steeped in history and with a stunning coastline and scenery, the Turquoise Coast is a fantastic holiday destination, offering something for everyone. The climate in Ciftlik is hot in summer, warm in spring and autumn, and mild in winter, making it a good choice for winter breaks as well as summer sun.

The region has many historic sites within driving distance, including the ancient ruins of Tlos and Xanthos, the abandoned village of Kaya and the rock tombs at Fethiye.

Gocek town and marina, with upmarket shops and restaurants and laid-back atmosphere, is a short drive up the coast.

The Fethiye / Ciftlik area

Ciftlik is a peaceful, unspoilt village perfect for a relaxing holiday away from it all while still being close to beautiful beaches, restaurants, bars and sights.

The village has good local amenities and excellent transport links. There is a dolmus (minibus) stop only a few minutes walk from the villa, with buses running approximately every hour to Calis and Fethiye. A 15 minute walk from the villa to supermarkets and Internet cafe also brings you to the very frequent (every 5-10 minutes) dolmus route to Fethiye. From Fethiye it is possible to take a dolmus to many local resorts and towns, including Kaya, Oludeniz lagoon and Gocek.

The closest town is Calis, a picturesque resort with shops, restaurants and bars as well as a long beach and beautiful views out to sea. It also has an Aquapark, great for kids.

The bustling harbour town of Fethiye is about 15 minutes drive, with a Tuesday market, covered bazaar with spices, carpets, jewellery and lots more, fish market and lots of shops, bars and restaurants. There are several larger supermarkets. The attractive waterfront promenade extends all the way to Calis.

Boat tours and Gulets can be hired here, at Oludeniz and at Gocek for relaxing cruises round the islands and bays.

Hisaronu, a popular tourist resort with a Monday market, and Oludeniz, the most famous (and photographed) beach in Turkey, are about 20-25 minutes away. Go paragliding from Babadag mountain above Hisaronu, take a Jeep Safari, do some watersports or just relax and take in the atmosphere. Close to Hisaronu is the abandoned hillside village of Kaya.

Sakklikent gorge (about 40 minutes away) is a fantastic place to visit. Dine at one of the many restaurants on platforms over the cool waters of the river, then walk through the river and up the cool 'hidden gorge'.
The ruined cities of Tlos and Xanthos are both well worth a visit, and both around 45 minutes drive.

Driving north up the coast, just beyond Dalaman, is Dalyan for turtle watching and mud baths.

The brand new ski resort at Eren Mountain is only an hour away, making the villa ideal for anyone wanting a winter break.

Ferries run to Rhodes in Greece from Fethiye.

Local activities include diving, fishing, paragliding, watersports, sailing, jeep safari, horse riding.

Villa Katerina is only 40 minutes drive from Dalaman International Airport.

We can arrange airport transfers to the villa, and car hire at competitive rates, with the car delivered to the villa and collected at the end of your holiday.

For bookings made within 4 weeks of departure, we require payment in full on booking.

In all other cases there is a 25% non refundable deposit payable on booking, and the balance of the booking must be paid at least 4 weeks before departure. If full payment is not made when it is due we reserve the right to cancel the booking.

A security deposit of £100 is also required in addition to the final holiday payment. This deposit will be refunded within five working days of your return, less any costs incurred, including but not limited to damage to the property and any contents, breakages, excess cleaning, loss or non return of keys, loss or non return of bathroom towels and bedding.

Payment can be made by cheque, credit card, bank transfer.
