About the home
Our spacious apartment consists of an open plan lounge with kitchen/diner, 2 double bedrooms and 2 terraces. The apartment is well equipped for self catering with fully fitted kitchen with a washing machine. All rooms are tastefully decorated and benefit from excellent air conditioning. The lounge area has comfortable seating which will convert into an additional double bed. Enjoy the mountain view from our sunrise terrace or pool view from the sunset terrace; furnished with table & chairs, sun loungers & beanbags.
We invite you to enjoy all the comforts of home in our newly built property whilst on holiday in Calis.

A small, exclusive new development consisting of 12 apartments. The well-sized outdoor pool (open from April until November) is surrounded by a garden and patio area, perfect for enjoying the Turkish sun and gentle coastal breeze. A quiet location, the small town of Calis is just a short stroll away.
Our property manager lives on-site and is able to assist with any problems. He also has excellent knowledge of the local area and will offer excursion advice.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
Calis Beach provides an excellent choice for a perfect relaxing holiday. One of its great benefits is the refreshing breeze, even during the hottest months. The 2km promenade along the beach is lined with restaurants and bars, accommodating all tastes. There are no high rise buildings in Calis and no building works permitted during the summer, so this tranquil place maintains it’s charm and beauty throughout the holiday season.
The water taxi provides an enjoyable boat ride from the centre of Calis across the bay to Fethiye harbour where boats can be chartered at reasonable cost to visit beautiful, secluded islands. The local bus service runs regularly and picks up and drops off on request along various routes. The dark sand and shingle beach has wonderful views of the ocean and surrounding mountains, perfect for a lazy day swimming and sunbathing or a quiet drink watching the world go by.
The Fethiye / Calis area
There is an excellent variety of bars and restaurants along Calis Beach providing the opportunity to enjoy a perfect meal and watch incomparable sunsets. Vist the aqua park, book a safari into the mountains or to Saklikent Gorge. Daily excursions, Turkish baths, the Sunday market, internet cafés and the tennis club ensure there is something for everyone.
Fethiye is a 10 minute water taxi journey from Calis. Enjoy spectacular views while admiring the Lycian rock temples, peruse leather products, Turkish carpets and real and fake designer goods at the colourful local market. The pretty harbour provides restaurants and bars as well as a centre for boat trips and diving.
A 30 minute drive will take you to the picture postcard lagoon of Oludeniz with its Turquoise waters a fantastic destination for hang gliding. Saklikent Gorge is within one hour of Calis, famous for its spectacular views and white water rafting.

Direct flights to Dalaman Airport are available throughout the summer months from May 1st. Check out www.ba.com, www.xl.com or www.thomascook.com. During the winter season flights operate via Istanbul. A friendly, private chauffer service is available from Dalaman Airport for an additional cost of £35 each way (subject to change).
A car is not necessary as the local bus service is very cheap and reliable. However, the more independent traveller may wish to contact www.fethiyerentacar.com.

We had such a brilliant holiday in Turkey. Thank you for letting us rent your lovely apartment. And what a gem Peter is - he was so helpful, and a mine of information.The bikes were really useful to ride into Calis, and we watched some beautiful sunsets from the beach. We even got up in time to see the sun rise one morning!

Have just had fabulous time with family at the New Moon apartments. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone - it's the perfect antidote to stressful living - relaxing meals, blissful swimming, stunning sunsets....absolutely perfect. The apartments are set at the foothills of the mountains with the beach and all amenities just a five minute walk away. What really struck me was the friendliness and helpfulness of the people that live in the apartments - help was always at hand to organise trips, recommend restaurants and even deliver a crate of beer!! - I wish we could have stayed longer!!
