About the home

The villa is well equipped and tastefully furnished on 3 floors. 4 bedrooms with 2 double bedrooms and 2 twins. The 2 double bedrooms are en suite and have a bath, shower and toilet. The 2 twins are on the 3rd floor and share a common bathroom with toilet and shower. In addition to this there is a toilet on the ground floor. All bedrooms have their own balcony with table and chairs. There is also a double sofabed in the living room on the ground floor. All towels and linen are provided. On the patio there is a large table and chairs for outdoor dining and a brick bbq. There are loungers for the pool. All the rooms in the villa are fully airconditioned.

Fethiye, the main town is 15 min. drive away from Oasis Village and easily accessible by local 'dolmus', bus service, taxi or private rental car.
The complex offers: Mini market, Restaurant, Snack Bar & Pool Bar, Heated indoor Pool, and Fitness Centre, Sauna, Mini golf and Tennis.

The terraces are spacious, with a BBQ, ideal for alfresco dining on those warm summer evenings. The garden with a large private freshwater swimming pool is well kept, with stunning views from the terraces of this Villa.

On the resort there are a few wireless access points for the internet. In the villa you have a proper wireless access to the internet through one of these access points.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Ancient Lycia is in southwest Turkey, whose Aegean shore is known as the Turquoise Coast. In this stunning region, craggy limestone mountains plunge into azure seas, and evidence of the Greek, Lycian and Roman empires are strewn around like half buried treasures, linked together by coastal trails that used to be the trade routes of antiquity. The Turquoise Coast runs from Bodrum in the north to the city of Antalya in the south, a spectacular stretch of coastline, once the home of the Greek Lycian civilisation.

Nowadays there are many attractions and activities along the Lycian Turquoise Coast other than simply sunbathing in the continuous sunshine. There are all types of water sports, aerial activities, land sports, visits to archaeological and spectacular sites and also great shopping for clothes and jewellery.
Along the Lycian Turquoise Coast there is paragliding, flying micro-lites, windsurfing, kite-surfing, sailing, swimming, water-skiing and scuba diving. While inland you can take part in walking, mountain biking, quad biking, jeep safaris, horse riding, bird watching and particularly Walking the Lycian Way.

If you love warm sparkling seas, picturesque beaches, and vibrant cultures, then you’ll enjoy a Lycian Coast holiday. Come swim in the turquoise waters, discover a rich and fascinating history, meet genuinely friendly local people, and feast on the truly addictive cuisine of the Lycian Coast.

The Fethiye / Yaniklar area

The villa is on the luxury Oasis Village development in Yaniklar, which is about 15 mins from the bustling harbour town of Fethiye, close to the famous beach resorts of Oludeniz, the Blue Lagoon and Calis Beach. Calis Beach is 10 mins away, the others 20 - 25 minutes. It would be ideal for those wanting a peaceful and relaxing holiday, but with the option of plenty to do on site and at the beach. It is also close enough to a few livelier resort areas, should there be a requirement for a night or two out and about.

The old town centre in Fethiye is a maze of narrow winding streets with local crafts shops, leather, carpets, spice, sweet shops and with little bars, restaurants with a diverse mix. Each Tuesday there is a huge famous market in Fethiye that sells everything from leather goods, clothes, spices and food all at bargain prices. Fethiye accommodates a huge array of basic to fine restaurants all bidding for your custom, from traditional Turkish through to fine European dining.
Temperature, which is approximately 34 degrees during the summer months, is generally over 15 degrees during winter. Sea water temperature never decreases under 16 degrees even in the winter.

The local scenery surrounding Fethiye is more than beautiful, with mountains, rising higher then 5,000 feet where the tomb of King Amyntashe thrones over the town of Fethiye.The Mount Babadag only 20 minutes from Fethiye town centre, is an important paragliding centre.
A few km more south is the famous Butterfly Valley which can only be reached by boat. Countless little coves surrounded by pine forests as seen on the pictures, makes Fethiye to the Paradise on earth for Sailors. Patara beach with 18 km the biggest beach in Turkey and just half kilometres shorter than Miami beach, is aprox. 90 minutes from Fethiye by car. Dalyan and Iztuzu Beach only 1 hour away, both World famous beaches with several miles long sandy beaches and crystal clear blue waters of the Mediterranean. Only half an hour drive heading north is Gocek a small resort with a beautiful marina.

Calis is a more traditional seaside resort with local restaurants catering for British tourists and plenty of nightlife.

Along Fethiye promenade you find many excursion boats offering trips around the bay, the 12 island tour, trips to Gocek, trips to Saklikent Gorge for water rafting and many other destinations. There is also a regular fast ferry offering day trips, or longer, to Rhodes.
Take a tour to Pamukkale to see the hot springs and the remarkable limestone scenery or take an overnight tour to Ephesus for the Roman remains. Other archaeological sites include Xanthos, Tlos and Cadianda and many people like to walk at least a part of the Lycian Way.

Only 40 kiometres from Dalaman Airport. Yaniklar is a small village between Gocek and Fethiye on the road to Fethiye from Dalaman airport. Many airlines offer cheap direct flights to Dalaman.

We can assist you in hiring a car directly from Dalaman Airport. It's a very easy drive to the villa and the roads are good, full directions will be provided. Alternatively we can arrange transfers and you will be met at the airport.
