About the home

Stylish and spacious 2 bedroom apartment in small and exclusive development in a great location, close to all amenities. Tastefully fiited out, with all mod cons.
The apartment is on the ground floor with a sun terrace overlooking the large shared pool and gardens (with steps providing direct access) and comprises of a fully fitted kitchen and bathroom, spacious lounge-dining area with satellite TV, DVD & CD player, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom (2 single beds) and utility room. It is fully air conditioned.
The apartment is in a quiet location, but the centre of the resort and beach are only 5 to 10 minutes walk away.

Facilities

The apartment has two bedrooms, one with double bed and the other with two singles. Both bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes. There is a hairdryer in the main bedroom and all linen is provided. There ia also a safe deposit box.
The bathroom has both shower and bath and towels are provided for your use in the apartment, We also supply four beach towels.
The lounge/dining area comfortably seats 4 and is equipped with satellite TV, DVD and CD/IPod player. The kitchen is fitted with all mod cons including a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, oven, hob and microwave.
The apartment is fully air conditioned – hot days, cool nights – luxury !
There is a separate utility room with washing machine.
For those of you for whom a holiday isn’t a holiday without a good “barby”, there is a built in BBQ on the sun terrace together with outside seating for 6.

The swimming pool is open from April to October and is shared, along with the garden area, with the other apartments.
Four sun loungers with covers are provided. To save on your luggage 4 large beach towels are also provided.

Please take out holiday insurance because Turkey is not in the E.U. The area is well provided for by local hospitals, but you will pay for treatment if not insured. Although we have made every effort to make your stay safe accidents do happen. We have to disclaim liability because we cannot get public liability in Turkey so it is essential that you get proper cover

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

The Turquoise coast has gained it's name because of the colour of the water which laps up onto golden beaches and nestles into rocky crags. The area is carpeted with pine trees that look down onto olive groves. The Taurus mountains reach up to the blue skies setting some of the most picturesque views you would struggle to find anywhere else in the world. The stunning Blue Lagoon at Olu Deniz is the most photographed area in Turkey.

The Fethiye / Calis Beach area

Calis Beach is a small but developing resort. It’s pretty relaxed and very friendly. The main promenade runs for about 2 km lined with all types of restaurants (Turkish, Chinese, Italian, etc) and overlooks the bay which is interspersed with numerous islands. Calis is renowned for its panoramic sunsets.
The resort has a small water park, tennis club, Turkish baths, Sunday market and even the odd internet café for those of you missing work ! Everything is within walking distance of the apartment and the area caters for everyone except club 18-30 types (although there are a couple of small discos)
Fethiye, the main town, is about three kilometers round the bay. It is a charming, real, Turkish town backed by pine forests and snow capped mountains (for half the year). You can get there by water taxi, Dolmus (mini bus) or taxi. The water taxis are great. They start from Calis at the bridge over the river and arrive at the thriving marina in Fethiye with its bars, restaurants and fishing port around 20 minutes later. You can shop for fakes or the real thing, eat the best kebabs in the world or buy fresh fish from the fish market and have it expertly prepared, with salad, etc by the local fish restaurants.

- www.xl.com and www.flythomascook.com are the main operators but many other charters fly there.
- Transfers can be arranged, or you can book direct, for £25-£30 each way for up to 6 people.
- No car hire is necessary, but is available.
