Home description
Oasis Village is set in a quiet rural area with glorious views across to the surrounding mountains. A meandering path through orange groves connects it to the beach (about 45 minutes walk). The seaside resort of Calis is about 10 minutes drive, with its abundance of restaurants, bars and nightlife. The charming harbour town of Fethiye is only about 5 minutes further on. Both can be reached by the local bus service (Dolmus) which is a very cheap and convenient way of travelling about. Activities nearer the complex include a variety of water sports and horse-riding.
The complex itself has thoughtfully landscaped gardens, several splendid swimming pools plus an indoor pool, a poolside bar, shop, tennis court, mini golf course, roof top restaurant, sauna, fitness centre and play area for the children. All in all, everything you need for a totally relaxing stay in the sunshine.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
The Turquoise Coast, so called because of the beautiful colours of the sea, offers everything you need for the perfect holiday. The landscape varies from long sandy beaches to mountain ranges and includes many interesting historical sites.
Calis: just a 10 minute drive away, this is a popular beach resort with plenty of friendly bars, restaurants and shops mainly stretched along the sea front. A wonderful place to sit with a beer and watch the sun go down.
Fethiye: a bustling harbour town a further 5 minutes on from Calis. The huge Tuesday market is a great favourite with residents and holidaymakers alike and offers every product imaginable. The fish market is also very popular as are the beautiful gulets moored along the harbourside, waiting to be booked for your daytime or evening cruise. The town is open all year round and has become very popular with holidaymakers over the last ten years. There is also a very Turkish feel to Fethiye as most of the locals have lived here all their lives, so it really is a case of East meets West. There are plenty of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars to choose from, both in the town itself and along the harbour. A hill crowned by the ruins of the crusader fortress built by the Knights of Rhodes overlooks the port. Also above the town are numerous Lycian rock tombs, reproducing the facades of ancient buildings and cut into the cliff face. The Tomb of Amyntas, which probably dates from the fourth century B.C. is the most remarkable.
Oludeniz: is approximately 30 minutes from Oasis and its Blue Lagoon is featured on virtually all the advertisements for this coastline. It offers safe swimming in the bay, plus various watersports. If you are feeling more adventurous, you can take a trip up Babadag Mountain and paraglide down on to the promenade.
Hisaronu: this is a popular and busy area on the way to Oludeniz with lots of bars, restaurants, nightclubs and a good choice of hotels.
Other places to visit from Oasis include Dalyan with its famous mud baths; the trendy, upmarket yachting centre of Gocek; the very pretty harbour resorts of Kalkan and Kas, further along the coast to the east; Kayakoy the “ghost” village, a fascinating place to explore; Gemili Island (St Nicholas's Island), with its Byzantine ruins, tucked among the pines; Koturumsu Bay, reachable only by boat and beyond which lie a forest, waterfalls and a valley filled with hundreds of varieties of butterflies. Also, the famous narrow gorge of Saklikent, high in the mountains above Fethiye and which can be reached by road or boat. Pinara, 49 km south of Fethiye, is another ancient mountain city, ideal for hiking. Visitors can see the remains of a theatre, an agora, a rock tomb, and baths. About 65 kin south-east Fethiye, near Kinik, are the ruins of Xanthos, an important Lycian capital in a splendid natural setting. Patara Beach lies further to the east and has 12km of gorgeous sandy beach, which is ideal for swimming and picnics.
Fethiye / Yaniklar area
As well as the larger resorts mentioned, there are several restaurants and bars within easy reach of Oasis., They all offer a good standard of traditional fare. The neighbouring village of Ciftlik has a wonderful bakery, a good butchers and an excellent, extremely well-stocked supermarket. In addition, a market is held there every Thursday with a plentiful choice of locally produced fruit and vegetables at very good prices.
How to get there
The Oasis apartment is only 40 minutes drive from Dalaman Airport with flights available from all regional UK airports.
