Food is cheap and plentiful. A wide choice of places to eat out can be found along Calis promenade. Popular with many Europeans, it's almost impossible not to make friends whilst out walking. Bike and moped hire are very reasonableif you want to venture further a field. Turkey is very family friendly and the people incredibly welcoming. I've travelled alone here and felt perfectly safe. The property's weekend rates apply to: Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights Preferred method of payment direct to bank account - details supplied on confirmation of booking dates Letting Conditions A holiday letting contract must be signed to ensure clarity about what has been agreed for the holiday booking. This holiday home is let subject to the following conditions: 1) The Holiday Party Leader and the adult members of the holiday party constitute the holiday party. 2) A deposit of £100 is payable for every 14 days of the proposed holiday period, and this secures the agreed booking period. This must be paid within 10 days of the request for the dates to be reserved. 3) The balance of the rental is due not less than 8 weeks/ 56 days prior to the start of the holiday unless other booking conditions have been agreed in writing. Failure to pay the balance in full within this time frame will constitute a cancellation of the holiday by the holiday party leader. Reminders are not issued. 4) Cancellation of the booking by the holidaymaker should be made in writing, the owner will repay, the following amounts: a. 60+ days before holiday arrival date – full deposit and rental payment b. 50% of the full rental cost is refundable with 28-59 days notice of cancellation c 25% of the full rental cost is refundable with 15-27 days notice of cancellation d. 0% of the full rental cost is refundable with 14 days or less notice of cancellation Please note that the deposit is forfeited with less that 60 days notice of cancellation. Please note that no refunds can be made until such sums have cleared the account of the owner. 4) Because the property is on a communal estate, it is important that other resident’s right to peace and quiet is respected.The property owner is entitled to ask the holiday party to leave the property without any refund if in her opinion the behaviour of any member of the party is unacceptable. Children must be supervised at all times –especially around the pools. 5) Whilst every care is taken to provide an accurate description of the property, from time to time there may be alterations made. The holidaymaker must accept that no refunds are available for such discrepancies. 6) The property owner will endeavour to make sure the stated property is available for the dates contracted. In the event, however, for instance, of fire or flood damage, and the property therefore not being available, the owner will endeavour to find the holidaymaker a suitable alternative accommodation. If the cost of this alternative accommodation is higher, the owner will be jointly responsible with the lead holidaymaker for the price difference.If a suitable replacement property cannot be found, the Holiday party leader is entitled to a full refund. 7) The number of persons using the property must not exceed the numbers agreed at the time of booking and the owner cannot accept more people than the maximum number advertised or agreed. If it is found that more people than agreed at time of booking are using the property, this will be considered a breach of contract and the holiday party may be asked to leave immediately without any refund. 8) Arrival time should be no earlier than 16.00 pm on the start date and the holiday accommodation should be vacated by10.00 am on the departure date (although it may be possible to negotiate some flexibility on an individual basis. This will be confirmed in writing). The owner cannot be held responsible for any changes in travelling arrangements which are beyond her control e.g. flight delays or missed fligts etc. You are advised to ensure adequate insurance to avoid any disappointment. 9) The holiday party leader should keep the holiday property and all furniture, fittings and effects in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday. An inventory will be supplied.The property should also be left in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which it was found. The property owner will be entitled to make an additional charge if this is not the case. The holiday maker will be responsible for all damage or loss of contents during the occupation and is also responsible for paying appropriate compensation to the property owner. Where holidaymakers abuse holiday property they will be responsible for making full restitution for the damage. A separate cheque for £200 is required, to be held by the owner against damage and breakages. The money will be returned in full to the holidaymaker 3 days after the holiday provided keys have been returned and no damage has occurred. A cleaning charge of £40 will only be incurred if the property is not left clean and tidy. Please leave check that children have not defaced the walls with crayons etc, leave the furniture in the arrangement you found it, wash dishes used, put all trash in the bins and sweep floors. The owner will arrange for cleaning of bathroom basins, baths and showers and laundry of towels and sheets. 10) It is the owner’s utmost concern that the holidaymaker has a highly enjoyable stay. It is up to the holidaymaker to make any problem known to the owner immediately it becomes apparent so that the owner has an opportunity to correct the situation. Unless this procedure is followed no claim can be accepted. It also must be accepted by the holidaymaker that there are times when professionals cannot immediately be found to rectify a problem. The owner will, however, do her best to rectify problems as soon as is reasonably possible. 11) Signature of the contract represents confirmation of acceptance of the above letting conditions. 12) Contact details for obtaining and returning keys to the apartment will be made available on payment of the full rental and no less than 10 days before the day of arrival .
