Home description
New for 2005 this spacious ground floor apartment, with air-conditioning in all rooms has 2 bedrooms, a large lounge diner, breakfast bar and kitchenette. The master bedroom has a king size bed and door leading onto the terrace and the 2nd bedroom has twin beds. There is also a shower room. The sitting room has 2 bedsettees, dining table with chairs and doors leading onto a large terrace which overlooks the pool. The apartment is comfortably furnished and as it is my second home I have added homely touches eg. pictures, cushions etc.
There is also a 3 bed/ 2bath. duplex above which can be rented separately or together, ideal for 2 families or a group of friends.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
There are many places of historical interest in and around Fetihye and trips are available to Saklikent Gorge, the mud baths in Dalyan or a jeep safari. You can also take the Dolmus to Olu Deniz and the beautiful blue lagoon with its luke warm waters and soft sand, ideal for little ones and the elderly. The local bus service goes to many places so there is no need to hire a car for example from the end of the road you can travel to Goek (25mins), a lovely ride through mountain scenery. Gocek is a very pretty sailing resort with a large Marina and many 'up market' shops and restaurants along the water front serving fresh fish dishes.
Fethiye area
Calis has a long shingle beach and flat paved promenade which is traffic free during the season. It is lined with shops, bars and restaurants. Sip a cocktail and watch the famous Calis sunset over the sea and mountains - breathtaking! Fetihye is a lovely harbour town with boat trips leaving daily, why not take the Catamaran to Rhodes ( 80 mins) and spend the day walking round the cobbled streets of Rhodes old town. Fetihye market (Tuesday) is very large and sells everything from fresh fruit and veg. to leather, jewellery, linen, and craft items.There is also a market is Calis on a Sunday which is aprox 15mins walk from the apartment.The old town in Fetihye is a maze of small traffic free streets with all the wares hanging outside the shops and lots of restaurants for when your feet get weary!
How to get there
Fly to Dalaman, the transfer from the airport takes aprox. 30mins as a tunnel was opened in July 2006 through the 1st mountain there is also a new terminal at Dalaman which is excellent and has lots of shops, food and seating areas. We can arrange transport from the airport if required or car hire is available at a reasonable price.

Further details indoors: The apartment was newly furnished in 2005. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with plenty of hangers, bedside tables, dressing table and stool. there are extra pillows, and blankets in the wardrobes. Bed linen and towels for the bathroom are provided but please bring your own beach towels. The kitchenette has a 4 ring gas hob, crockery, cutlery and glasses etc. for 6 people and appliances as listed. The large terrace has a round patio table with parasol and 6 chairs for 'al fresco' dining on those balmy evenings.
Further details outdoors: This a small complex of mainly British owners set in attractive gardens round a large pool. There is also a shower for rinsing before and after a swim and an outside toilet, handy for children when round the pool.The sun deck is at the end of the pool and has plenty of sunbeds and parasols. Last winter we have had a new bar built which was officially opened the 1st week in May. It has seating for meals, bar stools, a pool table, Sky TV and free internet access if you have your own laptop.Our barman, Hassan, cooks breakfast, lunch and evening meals and sell all kinds of soft and alcoholic drinks. .
There is also a small shop oppsite the complex which is very well stocked or larger supermarkets within walking distance. The local minibus( Dolmus) stops outside the complex and takes you into either Fetihye (15mins) or down to the beach (5mins) but could be walked in20 minutes. the cost of the bus for either trip is 1.25 lire (aprox 50p). There is also a water taxi which runs from Calis across the bay to Fetihye - this is a lovely trip.
Further details
A deposit of £50 per week is required to confirm the booking and the balance is payable 8 weeks prior to departure.
As Turkey is not part of the E.U. it is not possible for us to get public liability insurance please therefore ensure that you have your own insurance as we have to disclaim in the event of any personal accident claims.
The pool and bar are open 1st May - 31st October. We have an on site manager who speaks English and will help with any problems, and night and day security who will always help with luggage, letting you into the apartment etc.Car hire and trips can also be booked at the bar.
Conditions
Please advise the en-site staff of any breakages or replace them yourselves so that they are available for the next visitors.
