SPECIAL OFFER FOR APRIL 2010 - GREAT REDUCTIONS - This Forest Valley apartment is a brand new (2008)ground floor duplex situated in a five unit complex in the beautiful beach resort of Calis. Just a 15-20 minute walk from the beach, the apartment has easy access to all amenities including all the excellent restaurants Calis has to offer, the local markets, aqua park, water taxi etc. A ten minute bus ride away by the Dolmus (which stops right outside the apartment on the hour) will take you into the beautiful town of Fethiye which boasts a fantastic bay surrounded by a ring of 12 islands. The apartment is fully air-conditioned and consists of an open planned kitchen/lounge with full cooking facilities, fridge freezer,and washing machine and its own fresh drinking water dispenser(with cooler). The room is lovely and bright with three balconies. there are two bedrooms, one twin and one double (with cot facilities) if required, the two bedrooms each have their own private balcony, five balconies in all each with fantastic views and a built in BBQ on the main balcony. There is one fully tiled bathroom with shower and a built in hallway cupboard with a built in safe for your valuables. The complex is totally private and is very fortunate to be one of the very few complex's in Calis that benifits from having CCTV.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
Calis (pronounced Chalis) is a beach resort with spectacular views and stunning sunsets situated just a short distance from Fethiye It makes a fantastic holiday choice as it is situated amongst the mountains and the sea, offering a lovely refreshing breeze all year round. The area is one of breathtaking scenery and natural beauty and exceptional weather.
The climate is good all year round with temperatures ranging from 16' in January to 40' in July and August
Fethiye / Calis Beach area
Along the Calis seafront there is a pedestrian boulevard, with many excellent restaurants, bars and shops. The atmosphere here is very informal and relaxed making it ideal for sun worshipers, couples or families. Daily activities include a selection of water sports, a family day out at the aqua park, horse riding amongst the mountains or along the beach, maybe visiting the magnificient beach at Patara where the turtles breed. There are any number of Turkish baths which is quite an experience, Oludeniz and the Blue lagoon (one of the most photographed beaches in Turkey), are only a short bus trip away and here you can enjoy paragliding over the magnificent bay or soaking up the sun in one of the most beautiful places around. Another excellent day out is one of the many boat trips, (which are incredibly cheap and excellent value for money), enjoying the wonderful food which is prepared endlessly for you, whilst you dive off the boat into the warm turquoise seas. If history is your interest you will not be disappointed, the places to visit are endless, old Roman Cities and tombs, churches and many other antique remains.
Fethiye is a great place to visit, many fine restaurants, clubs and bars, here you can take a boat trip and tour the 12 islands, or enjoy an evening sunset cruise (with live singers) many jeep safaris are available, as are canoeing, canyoning, mountain bike excursions.
How to get there
Flights are usually to Dalaman Airport and transfers can be arranged - the cost of a return transfer is as follows: 1-6 people £80 return 7-12people £90 return
Further details indoors: In all of the bedrooms there is bedroom furniture i.e drawers and wardrobes, built in wardrobe in the master bedroom. The lounge/kitchen/dining area leads into the hallway with built in cupboard for cases etc and a built in safe for your valuables. The first and second bedroom are off the hallway. as is the bathroom which is fully tiled with full shower cubicle, toilet & sink. The lounge/kitchen area boasts three separate balconies, where you can barbecue and dine outside el-fresco.
Further details outdoors: Large well maintained garden plus shared gardens with lawn and flower beds which is surrounded by a wall with a secure gate making it safe for children. Parasols and sun loungers are provided. There is a large shared pool with a separate baby splash pool which is directly in front of the apartment. Patio furniture is provided for use on all of the balconies. Please note this is a totally private complex with only 5 duplex's (some of which are owner used only) the pool and gardens area is therefore extremely spacious and roomy.

Apartment is not suitable for wheelchairs as there is a flight of stairs to the front door

Balance payable 10 weeks prior to travelling with refundable security deposit. Late cancellation fees will apply. Contract applies as soon as booking form returned.
If transfer arranged with owner fee to be paid direct to transfer service on collection from Dalaman Airport. The cost of this is £75 return up to 4 people 5-8 people £80 return.
Please be aware that as Turkey is not yet part of the EU public liability insurance is not yet available, it is therefore advised that you take out adequate holiday insurance as we will disclaim any liability on our part. (for travel insurance purposes Turkey is classed as being in Europe)
Please be aware that Dalaman Airport charge a fee of £10 per person before entry can be made into Turkey. This must be paid (usually in sterling) before entering passport control.

This was our first time to Turkey and it will not be our last - of all the places we have been this was the most surprising - it had everything we could have wished for and more. We have just returned from one week in Turkey staying at this apartment - we were apprehensive before going as this was our first time to Turkey - but we found it delightful and would come back without a moments hesitation. I would recommend this holiday to anyone - both the apartment, complex and area was fantastic - The weather was brilliant - not a cloud did we see in the full 2weeks - the trips are real value for money, especially the private boat trip which worked out at £10 per head with a banquet thrown in! Calis is very welcoming and the Turkish people very friendly and made our 8 year old twins so welcome, we really loved the place and will be going back.-
