The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
The coastline where the Aegean Coast meets the Mediterranean Sea is an alluring destination, renowned for its magnificent scenery with picturesque coves and rocky headlands, turquoise waters, golden beaches and pine forests. This beautiful landscape is the beginning of the Turquoise Coast, dominated by the mountains of the Taurus range whose cliffs plunge into the sea of intense blue.
The famous Oludeniz Lagoon is less than an hour's drive away from the resort.
The average daily high temperature in October is 20 degrees, making Sunset Beach a perfect destination to escape the autumn weather in Northern Europe.
Simple villages share the water's edge with sophisticated resorts, and fishing vessels and pleasure yachts mingle together in the sheltered harbours. Here is the place to relax, swim or snorkel in warm seas, sunbathe sensibly or relax in a cafe, drinking in the casual relaxed atmosphere and dining al fresco. The locals and waiters are very friendly and have a great sense of humour. You must watch the amazing sunsets!
