Home description
Our spacious three bedroom, air conditioned villa is set within its own garden with private pool which is attended daily, no more fighting for sunbeds, there yours whenever you want them. It is only a short walk from the best sunset beach called Calis, promenade and shops. By day you can relax by the pool with its own sun terrace, which is furnished with sun loungers and also an outside cold water shower to help you cool off. The terrace is also perfect for al fresco dining, and has table and chairs to seat six people. There is a bbq on front terrace for your use.
The villa has three spacious bedrooms each with its own balcony to sit out on, so you can admire the views of the pool or surrounding area. The main bedroom has a double bed with its own en suite bathroom, which has a shower over the bath, but also a shower cubicle. The second bedroom has a double bed and the third room has two single beds. All bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes and vanity table. There is a main bathroom which has a large shower cubicle.
The kitchen has all the facilities you need, and includes a breakfast bar area and a laundry room, containing washing machine and clothes airer. It is fully equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils, 5 litre hot and cold water machine and dishwasher. The large lounge/diner is exceptionally spacious, with an open fire place and dining area with seating for up to six people. Also t.v. for d.v.ds.
There is also a downstairs cloakroom for your convenience. If you're a young family enjoying your vacation in style, or a couple looking for a romantic holiday, this should be the villa for you. The villa is built within a private gated garden, making it a very safe place for children to play. Our well lit pool area is great for an evening in.

The popular resort Fethiye, 135 km southeast of Marmaris, hosts an important marina at the head of a beautiful bay strewn with islands. A hill crowned by the ruins of the crusader fortress built by the Knights of Rhodes overlooks the little port.
Above the town, (called Telmessos in antiquity), numerous Lycian rock tombs, reproducing the facades of ancient buildings, were cut into the cliff face.
The Gulf of Göcek and its friendly marina is one of the Mediterranean's best sailing spots. Hisaronu, at the skirts of the Mount Babadag/Oludeniz, is a world-wide popular paragliding resort and boasts the most photographed beach/lagoon in Turkey.
Fethiye / Calis Beach area
Calis Beach is 5 km from the Fethiye district centre. Along the 3km long beach, there are hotels, bars, restaurants and a water park.
Our neighbouring town of Fethiye is easily reached by local dolmus or by frequent and inexpensive water taxi. It is a stunning ancient harbour town bustling with fishing boats, gullets and international yachts, the perfect place to settle down to a delicious seafood meal in one of the many inviting restaurants. The maze of cobbled streets are full of shops, bazaars and an ancient Turkish bath, a must on your visit to Turkey. On Tuesdays Fethiye has the biggest market in the area, where locals gather to sell their wares, the perfect place to hone your bartering skills and stock up on holiday souvenirs.
Recommended Trips:
From Villa Mendos stroll along the small river, past the local fishermen, over the bridge and you are amongst Calis’ vast array of shops, bars and restaurants in just a few minutes.
Our beach has the most beautiful and picturesque sunsets and a 3km stretch of sand and shingle. The car free promenade boasts many restaurants that vary from Turkish, Italian, Chinese etc. The Orient Express restaurant is a firm favourite serving the best steak Diana, but also has a great menu for any vegetarian. All the restaurants have a good selection of kids meals and they will love the delicious ice-cream parlour.
Sultans water park is only a 10 minute walk from the villa, pay and stay all day.
On Sunday Calis has its own market selling fresh fruit and vegetables. Take home the beautiful bath towels or Turkey’s famous not so designer clothes and handbags!
The Turkish bath is a must at the start of your holiday, the ultimate in pampering. After the body exfoliation you will keep that golden tan.
Hire out the Calis water taxis for just you and your group. The Captain will take you around Blue Bay Islands where you can swim and snorkel. Stop and fish, they will cook your catch on the bbq. This trip includes a delicious bbq lunch, afternoon tea then sails back at 6pm.
Don’t leave without a trip on Carol Tayfun’s Sunset Cruise. It departs Fethiye at 7pm. It moors at a secluded bay, swim as the most beautiful sun is setting. Dry off for a lovely bbq followed by singers and a disco on the way home.
Jeep safari is fun for all the family, travel through the Turkish countryside in an open top jeep, lunch is provided.
Turkish night at Kervanscray. Sample local cuisine including mezes and drinks. There is folk dancing from many regions and the glamorous belly dancers.

Many charter flights fly to Dalaman (Thompson/First Choice/Monarch/Easyjet/Pegasus/Thomascook ect). Flights from a wide choice of airports across the UK. From Dalaman airport it is about a 45 minute drive to Calis Beach. Transfers can be arranged, please contact us for more details.

"We had a great time at Villa Mendos. It was so conveniently located, only a short stroll from the beach, bars and restaurants. We took our two teenage nieces who had a wonderful time in the pool and loved the aqua park. We made the most of the villa and had a couple of evenings around the pool, using the terrace and bbq. We had a great holiday. The villa was fabulous and ideally placed, close to amenities but far enough away to be quiet and restful. The water cooler was an added bonus, doing away with the need to carry water from the shops. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms .were spacious.
