About the home

Metin has been furnished as a 'home from home' property and is well appointed to cater for all your holiday requirements. Whether you enjoy relaxing by the pool, spending the day at the beach or a touch of both, this apartment will cover all your needs. There is a large 'wrap around' terrace which has a table and chairs for 'al fresco' dining and there are 4 sun-beds for exclusive use with red/white matresses for your comfort. A further terrace is available to each bedroom and this will easily take chairs and a small table for taking in more sun or relaxing with a book/newspaper as the sun moves around during the day and evening.

The apartment has only been set up for rental this summer for the first time so all the equipment , beds, linens and towels are new and ready for your enjoyment. The apartment is light and airy and air conditioning is ready for use in each bedroom.

This apartment is well situated for Calis and the beach and Fethiye is about 15 minutes away in a Dolmus (local mini bus) and costs very little to use. Fethiye itself is well worth exploring as a bustling town with cafes, markets and much to do and see.

Facilities

The kitchen is well appointed and has everything that you could want on holiday. An iron and ironing board is available and both bedrooms have a hair dryer in each room. The bathroom has a toilet and large shower with sink and mirror surround. The lounge has ample seating for the evening in both table area and sofas and armchairs. If you prefer to sit inside and eat then a newly fitted table and chairs has been provided for your comfort. This seats up to 6 people near the kitchen area.

The large terrace opens out to the pool area and is wide and easy to access the apartment from/to. Each window has been beautifully appointed with wrought iron bars as an added security feature.

There is space to park a car should you wish to hire one during your holiday.

Smoking is permitted on the balconies only.

Any linen ruined by 'henna tattoos' will have to be replaced and paid for from the security deposit.

If a 'call -out' by our agents is required for lost keys during the rental period , then a minimum charge of £75 will be levied from the security deposit as it will require a locksmith to replace the keys of the apartment at the same time.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Fethiye is a lively town with many places to go and see. The market is a must but there is a large marina and harbour and a long promenade to walk along and take in the beautiful scenery and 'people-watch'.

Calis is the main beach area for Fethiye itself. Stunning views across to the many islands that sit in Fethiye Bay and an even longer beach promenade - which has every restaurant offering all the different food styles that you could possibly wish for. Every age is actered for as you can be as quiet or busy as you want. Trips to the Dalayan Mud-baths, jeep safaris, paragliding from Babadag mountain, turkish baths ( a must ! ) or visit a Kaya Koy - a ghost town deep in the pine forests. There is definitely something for everyone here !

The weather is really great all year round - April to October with the main summer months being June through September and it is hot here but the gentle breezes around Calis and Fethiye are perfect to keep cool. The weather here is also around 5 degrees warmer than in the mountain areas like Hisaronu and Olu Deniz so if you like it warm and sunny all year round - this is definitely the area for you !

The Fethiye / Calis Beach area

The apartment is a flat 8 minute walk to Calis Beach with many restaurants and bars with beautiful views across Fethiye Bay and the isalnds that are within the bay area. There is a long promenade and you can watch some fantastic sunsets from here! There are Water Taxis to take you into Fethiye itself or a dolmus ( local bus) for a few pence and about a 10 minute ride away. Olu Deniz , the famous Blue Lagoon is well worth a visit and is about 15 minutes away by car/dolmus/taxi. This is the most photographed beach in Turkey and is a National Park which is protected from development as it is so beautiful. A day at the lagoon where you can hire pedaloes, kyaks and swim in clear water in the midst of the Babadag and Mendos mountains - just stunning.

Fethiye has local markets and a marina where you can sit and watch the world go by.

We can arrange many trips for you and your guests to the Mud baths at Dalyan, a turkish bath, jeep safaris and much more ! How about hiring a boat for the day and having your lunch cooked for you on board whilst snorkelling amongst the reefs and rocks in Fethiye Bay - try it - it's just fantastic and really does not cost the earth.

“This holiday apartment was everything written about it” This property was as described which was excellent, other home owners and guests we met at this complex during our stay were very friendly and helpful. The location we found to be very good, a short walking distance from most things. We could not really fault anything about this holiday, if we were forced to be critical about something then it would be lack of a sandy beach.

The property sleeps up to 6 people as it has 2 well appointed bedrooms and the sofa bed in the lounge. If 2 or 3 people wish to rent this property then we would give a 5% discount on the quoted prices.

If a cot is required, we can provide this at a cost of £20 per week extra but guests must bring their own bed linen for the cot.

£50 non refundable deposit per week is required to secure a booking.

Full payment is required 8 weeks before your departure date.

Cancellations made 2-8 weeks before departure ; 50% refund.

Cancellations made less than 2 weeks before departure ; No refund.

£200 refundable deposit is required before departure to cover possible breakages/damage to the apartment and will be taken and refunded 48 hours after you have left the property

Airport transfers will be arranged at a cost of £80 return for parties of up to 4 and £110 for parties of 5/6.

Apartment keys will be available from our driver at the airport when you arrive.

Our agent will visit you on your first day to make sure that you have settled in to the apartment and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. They will also collect the airport transfer fee in £ sterling.

We have contact with owners of other properties on and around the Metin development who rent, therefore we can help to find accommodation if you have more than one party wanting an apartment, or if we are already booked for your chosen dates.
