About the home

A privately owned 3 bedroom air-conditioned VIlla,newly built and furnished in 2005. Situated in its own private garden with swimming pool and sunbathing areas but is only a 5-minute walk to the wonderful Calis beach, shops and restaurants.

There are 2 double bedrooms,one with en-suite bathroom,shower and large balcony area,and a twin room,all with built in wardrobes. A further shower room is situated upstairs with a door through to the utility room and washing machine. A TV/DVD/CD player are in the comfortable size lounge/dining area and there are DVDs and CDs for various ages for your use. But feel free to bring your own. The fully fitted kitchen is a separate room with all modern appliances including fridge/freezer,dishwasher,microwave and a chilled dispenser for water, which also has a hot water function. Home from home comforts even include a teapot! Patio doors from the lounge lead onto the balcony and barbecue area with cane furniture to seat six for alfresco dining.

The Villa is fully secure with Barred windows,lockable gates and alarm system. There are many supermarkets within walking distance of the Villa and also a medical centre two minutes walk away.

Although my Villa is a NO SMOKING property all smokers are welcome providing smoking is confined to the outside areas.

All bedrooms have spacious fitted wardrobes with a multitude of clothes hangers and ample draw space for six guests.The master bedroom has patio doors leading out onto a large balcony with cane furniture to accommodate 4 people for evening drinks or meals and to take in the beautiful relaxed atmosphere.The other 2 bedrooms have patio doors leading out onto a standing area.The Villa has a spacious hallway, utility room and extra wardrobe and cupboard space, where you will find beach towells for your use. The spiral stairway is a stunning marble feature leading from the comfortable lounge area and has safe hand rails on both sides.

Further details outdoors:
The Gardens are Beautifully maintained all around the Villa with a large patio area and swimming pool. The terrace from the lounge has a dining area with cane furniture to seat 6 people and a further set of chairs and dining table with a parasol are by the pool. A built in BBQ is on the terrace and a free standing one is also positioned at the side of it, they are both charcoal fuel. Sunbeds for 6 people are situated on the patio by the pool with several small tables to use by their sides. The driveway has a lockable gate and ample space for one car. As a car is not necessary, the Dolmus (local bus) runs along the Calis road every few minutes which is only a two or three minute walk away and for about 2 lira will stop for you with the waive of a hand to take you into Fethiye. (Don't forget the Tuesday Market!)You can then decide whether to explore the area or take a trip further to the other many wonderful places to visit. The water taxis are also a lovely way to travel into Fethiye. You can relax and enjoy the wonderful views on route and it is so lovely on a warm summer evening to feel the cool sea breeze! They are only a five minute walk away just before the Calis Promenade.

Welcome packs are available on request priced accordingly. Any extra requirements can be accommodated with prior notice. All bathroom towells and beach towels are provided and if you wish to have a bed linen change or villa clean during your stay this can be arranged for you with a price on application.
Smokers are welcome but there is no smoking allowed inside the Villa.
If you require internet connection this must be requested on your completed Booking Form.
For 2012 the cost of internet connection is 10gbp for up to a two week rental of the Villa.

Conditions

A deposit of 20% (non-refundable) is required at the time of booking. A refundable security deposit (for breakages etc) of £100 is also required with the final rental balance, which will be refunded (subject to satisfactory property inspection) approx 14 days after your departure from the Villa.

The balance is payable 8 weeks prior to travelling. Late cancellation fees will apply. Contract applies as soon as booking form returned.
Please be aware that as Turkey is not yet part of the EU public Liability Insurance is not yet available, it is
therefore advised that you take out adequate holiday insurance as we will disclaim any liability part
Please be aware that Dalaman airport charge a fee of £10.00 per person before entry can be made into Turkey.- This must be paid before entering passport control.
Tranfers to and from Villa will be arranged as soon as flight details are received. Please note these are payable by yourselves to Lee, my maintenance manager, who will introduce himself and collect the amount due at some point during your stay at the Villa.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Calis Beach (pronounced Chalish) is situated on the South West of Turkey, a short distance from Fethiye. Calis is a beach resort with stunning views and spectacular sunsets. The area is a fantastic holiday choice as it is situated amongst the mountains and the sea, offering a lovely refreshing breeze all year round. The area is one of natural beauty with breathtaking scenery and exceptional weather.

The climate is good all year round with temperatures ranging from 16' in January to 40' in July and August.

The Fethiye / Calis area

Along the Calis seafront there is a pedestrian boulevard, with many excellent restaurants, bars and shops. Daily activities include a selection of water sports, a family day out at the aqua park, horse riding amongst the mountains or visiting the magnificient beach at Patara where the turtles breed. You can also pamper yourself at one of the many turkish baths, or visit nearby Oludeniz and the Blue lagoon (one of the most photographed beaches in Turkey), here you can enjoy paragliding over the magnificent bay. Another excellent day out is one of the many boat trips, (which are incredibly cheap and excellent value for money), enjoying the wonderful food which is prepared endlessly for you, whilst you dive off the boat into the warm turquoise seas. If history is your interest you will not be disappointed, the places to visit are endless, old Roman Cities and tombs, churches and many other antique remains.

Fethiye is a great place to visit, many fine restaurants, clubs and bars, here you can take a boat trip and tour the 12 islands, many jeep safaris are available, as are canoeing, canyoning, mountain bike excursions. .

Transfers will be arranged for you unless you specify these are not required. The taxi fares for 2011 are presently £75 for upto 3 guests and £84 for 4 to 6 guests. The price includes pickup from Dalaman Airport to Alexpeth Villa and return to Dalaman for your journey home. A map is available with directions to the Villa if you prefer to hire a car. 'What a wonderful way to celebrate a special birthday staying at Val's villa and getting to know Turkey. We felt totally spoilt, as there was everthing that we needed in the villa and it was a total luxury not to have to take towels away with us!
The pool and the gardens were beautiful and the turkish people were very warm and friendly. The local 24 hour supermarket just round the corner is recommended as the owners go out of their way to help you, and a visit to Nil bar is recommended. We can't recommend Alexpeth Villa highly enough and we have stayed in many others - this was definitely the best!
Our holiday was total relaxation and we hope to be back next year!"
