About the home

The apartment is a wonderful 2 bed and 2 bathroomed ground floor apartment, with the main bedroom having an en suite. Perfect location on the complex and the envy of other visitors to the site.

There is a rear balcony and a large terrace, with furniture and built in BBQ.

The apartment is perfect for couples,groups or families, especially those with children as its ground floor and on the beach with no busy main roads to cross. It is also a perfect place for those who love the sea and a beach holiday, whilst still being within an easy stroll of plentiful bars and restaurants and numerous day and evening activities. The apartment is also just a few yards from one of the various outdoor pools, for when you fancy a dip to cool down.
Please note that there are FREE sunloungers and Parasols on the beach!. No hidden costs.
There is a Turkish Steam Room and Wellness centre also on site that we and several guests can recommend..
If your feeling energetic, there is a beach volleyball court for guests use, and numerous activities to participate in.
The apartment is in a PRIME and envious position enjoying a large corner plot right at the front of the complex, in an ideal spot between 2 lovely pools, due its location you can have a lovely breakfast with the sun shining on you, and in the evening you can choose to relax on the rear and watch the sun set.
As we have a rear garden your afforded more privacy and afternon sun.

As its so near the beach, you can nip back for drinks and lunch, SAVING ££££'s.
Guests can enjoy the luxury of waitress/waiter service on the beach for drinks and snacks.
A kids club is also available during the Summer to take some stresses out of parenting, and allow the kids to have some fun away from Mum and Dad in a safe environment.
A medical centre has also been opened on site, to add to the quality that this complex offers.
The apartment is fitted with smoke alarms and has a new fire extinguisher in the apartment.
There are also telephones on site to call home, and also WI-FI.
We have a supply of pool inflatables, a kiddies chair, beachbag,cool packs etc to make your stay that little bit nicer.
The site is being improved for this summer, and has a new big onsite market, a coffee bar, new entertainment and improved private beach.
To us your safety and enjoyment is of great importance.

Facilities

The premises consist of a large living area and kitchen which is fully fitted. The living room leads onto a large terraced area, with table and chairs, overlooking the landscaped gardens, pools and sea view.

The rear bedroom has all the necessary furniture and 2 single beds, with an A/con unit and private balcony with sea view. The bedroom at the front has a double bed, all furniture, wardrobe,drawers bedside tables, and en suite with shower. This room leads onto the terrrace amd has a seaview.

Further details outdoors:
The complex has a variety of outdoor recreational facilities, and was brand new in 2008. This is the only beachfront complex in Fethiye/Calis. Guests will be able to enjoy use of outdoor pools, with bars,,volleyball court and restaurant, snack bar. There is an indoor fitness centre, with sauna, steam room, indoor heated pool, gym and beauty treatements .
This is at the front of the complex, and only a very short walk from the apartment.
There is a market on site which stock the essentials, and is good value.

The complex is on the beach front, so walking a very short distance, will take you onto the beach, where parasols, loungers, cushions and beanbags are available for resort guests.
50 metres from the complex is Fethiye Surf School and beach club, where all the family can partake in windsurfing and other water sports, or enjoy beach games, or eat and drink in the surf cafe - great if you have young children or hard to please teenagers.

I have a great contact for car hire, beachbuggies, quads or pushbikes. This company can also arrange excursions with reliable and competively priced companies, such as boat trips.

- Smoking is not permitted within the premises under any circumstances.
- No Stag or Hen groups please.
- Deposit of 25% payable on reservation and the balance of the holiday no later than 8 weeks of departure.
Cancellations and refunds.
If the holiday is cancelled within 12 weeks + notice a full refund of the deposit will be offerred, if less than 12 weeks this will be reduced to 50%, if less than 8 weeks there will be no refund.
However, in the interests of fairness, if the dates can rebooked and the owners are not at financial loss, then a full refund may be offered, dependant on the circumstances.
- £150 refundable bond required at payment of balance. Refunded after inspection, and confirmation of no excessive power usage.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

For those of you familiar with the area and Turkey itself, you will know how breathtaking the region is with its crystal clear waters, warm sea, clear blue skies and dramatic coastline and mountains. The area of Fethiye is one of the most popular places in Turkey seeking to provide the best for the visitor. It is not a party place, or an 18/30 resort, rather seeking to cater for the family or couple, offering a lively but relaxed holiday atmosphere.

The area is steeped in history going back to ancient times, and there are numerous sites and places to visit; all of which are easy to get to, and easy on the pocket. The weather is hot, but as Fethiye is in a bay, there is a lovely cooling breeze. Beware of boat trips though for getting sunburnt! The area has around 300 days of sunshine!

The Fethiye / Calis Beach area

It really depends what you’re after on holiday, if you just like to relax and eat out, the beach is right on your doorstep, the apartment has a fully fitted kitchens, an outside terrace and rear garden complete with outdoor BBQ. The complex has a restaurant and bar, so you don’t have to leave the complex at all.

However, if you leave the complex, a short stroll along the palm tree lined promenade provides you with a great variety of beach-front restaurants and bars. You can take the Dolmus (bus), which takes you into the centre which takes about 30 minutes and costs around 70p. Or you can even get a 'water taxi' across the bay and into the harbour, where you can sit down in one of the bars along the marina and watch the sun go down and the world go by whilst enjoying the tipple of your choice.

If you fancy tiring yourselves during the day, or just exploring or having fun, then you can ride Quads, horse ride, snorkel/scuba, enjoy a variety of other water sports, or take boat trips, go white water rafting, or treat yourself to one of the jeep safaris. You can have a day at the Mud Baths (highly recommended), visit Olu Deniz, Turtle beach, Butterfly Park, Rock Tombs, Water Park, Ghost Village... the list goes on. The choice of things to do for all the family is endless, and the cost of doing them is very reasonable.

Your money goes so much further than in the EU, and all produce, is grown, reared and caught in the region. You can go to the fresh fish market to buy your own fish and take it to a restaurant where they will cook it for you and serve it to you with a choice of vegetables. You will find the pace of life so relaxed, the locals very courteous and helpful, and although Turkey is a Muslim country, the coastal towns and people are very liberal and respectful. If it's your first time visiting this country, you will return year after year.

There are numerous tour operators along the promenade and all offer good rates, that can be negotiated. Ask and you may get a free collection or a discount for booking several trips.

Taxis are cheap but ask for price 1st. As the site is still new, ask for Fethiye Surf Club.

The region is receiving huge investment and development and this is evident when you see the new international Dalaman airport and the new terminal. The airport receives and manages an ever increasing tourist population and so flights choice and carriers has continued to improve and grow. You can fly from all major destinations and prices do vary.

- The new road link and Gocek tunnel has recently opened, cutting the transfer time to 30/40 minutes.

“Nothing less than PERFECT.” We had a fab stay at Sunset beach, our apartment was stunning and was fully equipped with everything we needed. The staff were unbelievably helpful and the complex was stunning, clean and had everything you could possibly need - a shop, a fantastic restaurant (the food was amazing), a pool side bar, a gym, a beautician / spa (massages are out of this world), and a play area for the kids. There are plenty of pools so it never feels crowded and everything you need is in walking distance! The only negative is the beach, it's not as we expected however just a stroll along the front and you'll find your self at the surf club which has a fab beach and beach restaurant plus watersports. Overall you will not be disappointed, we would most definitely recommend this complex!! Bobbie & Josh.

UPDATE - I have started to use Trip advisor for reviews. And there is a delay. However, all guests have luckily all said the same things which is really great and all positive. I have guests that have rebooked and have said would be happy to talk to potential new guests and i have had several referrals and word of mouth booking.

For 2012 the site goes from strength to strength.

WE HAVE ADDED GUESTS FEEDBACK AND COMMENTS FOR EVERYONE TO READ. THESE COMMENTS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THE GUESTBOOK IN THE APARTMENT. WE REALLY VALUE OUR GUESTS AND THERE FEEDBACK BE IT POSITIVE OR CONSTRUCTIVE. THIS ALLOWS US TO IMPROVE OUR SERVICE,

This was a Ronseal holiday. We got excactly what it said on the tin. The apartment was clean and comfortable.Very well equipped and we were settle in within hours of arrival. Paul and Mel were in constant contact and answered all our questions and concerns before we travelled. Their site contact, Nadine was always available. The transfer was arranged by Paul and went very smoothly. We arrived at 11pm to find the complex shop still open and the brothers that run the bar opened up and cooked us a meal. The food was good and we ate there at least once a day, and the prices were competetive. The break was for us to relax and the complex suited our requirements perfectly. This was our 1st visit to Turkey but we will be returning and reusing this apartment again. We had a great time, would recommend to anyone and cant wait to go back.

We had a great week in the apartment. Our 3 year old loved being so near the beach, and the pool was superb. We had a couple of days of rain, so the indoor pool was perfect, as it was heated and really nice.
I would highly recommend it to other guests.

We went to this amazing apartment in April 09. All we can say is book it!
Unbelievable luxury, the most amazing views and extremely smart complex. On site is a brilliant health club where you can a have a couples Hamaan, which is a fantastic experience. There is the indoor pool etc, you really couldnt want more. We went for the massage twice!
We hired a jeep with the transfer company, who really couldnt do enough for us. So polite and lovely as are all the local people. We travelled to some amazing places only a stones throw away. Whatever is your thing, enjoying views, chilling, eating amazing food from the local markets, drinking EFES, this place seriously has the X factor!
We are going next year, as Paul and Mel couldnt do enough for us. Book with confidence you will have a superb time.

Myself, wife and child have had a lovely week at the apartment. So relaxing. Absolutely superb, and are planning on have 2 weeks next year as 1 week was not enough. Cant find fault, the facilities in the apartment and the complex are great and when the resort is completely finished for next spring it will be truly outstanding.
The owners also took all the hassle out of the planning, they helped source the flights, transfers and actually got us cheaper travel insurance. We will happily recommend to anyone.

Just had one hell of a great jolly at Sunset beach, fantastic apartment,very well equipped, 2 great outdoor pools and right on the beach with fre loungers and parasols.
The local agents couldnt do enough for us,arranging transfers(at a very good price).and locating a wheelchair for my disabled sister in law who had trouble moving around as the restaurants would come and pick us up for free, if we dined.
We will be back!

Just back and what a fantastic time we have had. The apartment and complex were great. The boys loved it and were never out the pools.The staff were so friendly. The sea was warm and the beach was so near!. Going again next year. Came back with a great tan, very relaxed and the Calis Beach area and restaurants were lovely. Highly recommended and the surf club is a must, just on the beach and the Friday BBQ and disco was fantastic.
