About the home

The apartment is situated at the quieter end of the busy resort of Calis beach just 5 minutes stroll away from the beautiful beach and promenade with it's lively bars, restaurants,cafe's and shops.
One of the smallest complexes in the area with just 14 apartments. With a large pool and childrens pool.
The two story apartment is fully air -conditioned and has a fully fitted well equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, a walk in wardrobe 2 bathrooms and a balcony overlooking the large pool with sea views. .
The local dolmus(bus) is 3 minutes away. and run every 10 minuets. to all the surrounding areas (no need for a car as everything is assessable .
fethiye is a beatiful harbour town with it's huge open markets and daily bazars fish market and ancient monuments, is just 20 minuets by bus or you can go the scenic way by boat taxi.

Tastefully furnished with hand made furniture, has a Kingsize bed with a walk in wardrobe and en- suite
there is a safe for passports. ect.
Twin bedroom Is also tastefully furnished and has two single beds which can be put together if required to make
a double bed.
Safety gates fitted at the top and bottom of the stairs . (with children in mind)
There is a tarvel cot with bedding if required
Down stairs:
A tastily furnished twin bedroom with 2 single beds which can be put together if required..
this is ideal for guests or grandparents.
fully tiled toilet and shower room.
Large L shape lounge :one double sofa (bed) and furnished, with hand made furniture there is everything you will need.
One three seater sofa and one double sofa (bed settee): Dinning table and chairs enabling you to dine al fresco. with plenty of crocks and pots for your stay.
Balcony overlooking the pool with sea view .
Fully fitted kitchen with granite work surfaces which is open plan to the dining /lounge area
All windows and doors have mosquito nets so you can let the sea breeze in.
The apartment will be clean on arrival with clean bedding and towels.
For a minimal fee we can provide maid service once a week for apartment clean and clean bedding, please let us know .optional.
There is also an optional welcome pack which includes tea,coffee,water,ect and is very handy with night flights.
We can also arrange transfers with our management team if required.
Gas and electric is included in the price.
Although if air con is left on unattended and meter reading is above average then a fee will be charged from deposit.

Further details outdoors:
The apartment is surrounded by lovely garden and shrubs.
It is gated with a wall around it and making it private for bathing and most importantly "safe for children", .
There is a large patio area around the main pool and children's pool.
umbrellas and sun loungers are supplied free .
There is a patio set of table and 6 chairs on your private balcony over looking the pool.with sea view to watch the spectacular sunsets.
We have 2 communal BBQ s which can be used by guests at the moment please leave it clean and tidy.
At the back of the apartment you can sit with table and chairs overlooking a protected wild bird sanctuary.
A nice shaded cool area.
There is a car park at the side of apartments.
The apartment complex is managed by our english management team.

Further details

A non refundable deposit of £100 pounds is required within 2 weeks to hold the booking or booking will be lost.
this will be knocked off your final balance.
Along with a refundable security deposit of £100 returned (subject to satisfactory property inspection) approx 14 days after your return .(£200 pounds altogether is required for booking of the appartment.
Full balance payable 8 weeks prior to traveling
If booking less than 8 weeks in advanced balance and deposit due immediately recite available
All breakages should be replaced this includes patio and front door moscito nets,
parasol for guests use should be returned to apartment at end of holiday.
Late cancellation fees will apply
This is a no smoking apartment. and must be adered to.
Contract applies as soon as booking form returned
Transfers can be arranged through our management company
or you can book independently please let us know which is required
NB. Please be aware the pool is not filled until May and is emptied in november.

Conditions

Apartment is not suitable for wheel chairs as there is a flight of stairs to the front door.
Please fetch your own beach towels as they are not provided.
Please be aware that Public Liability insurance is not available in Turkey and they are not part of the E.U.
So please ensure that you have adequate holiday insurance as we must disclaim any liability part.

Calis Beach
Calis has a beautiful sweeping promenade just set back from the beach that stretches across the bay to Fethiye. There are plenty of excellent restaurants and bars where you can enjoy a meal or drink and watch the sunset over the bay.You won't go without as Turkish People really know how to make you feel welcome
Calis has a large market on Sundays selling a wide range of products including fruit & vegetables, linen, clothing jewellery and homeware. There is also a waterslide park with various slides and swimming pools. flood lit tennis courts. outdoor bowls,quad biking and a Surf club where you can have lessons. and see the" Turkish champion" wind surfer in action.
There is a fantastic festival usually whit week with lots going during the week then a carnival on the saturday .
Fethiye
Fethiye is a stunning harbour town with excellent shopping facilities,and banks( english speaking), and a wide range of Turkish and international restaurants. With a mixture of lively and quiet bars and cafes lining the picturesque harbour front, this naturally protected bay is a drop-by place for all yacht crews.there is a fish market where you can have your produce cooked on site for a small fee. There are ancient Lycian rock tombs built into the side of the mountains and the remains of a medieval fortress built by the Knights of St John. There is also an ancient amphitheatre on the outskirts of the town.

Various activities in the Fethiye/Calis area include: jeep safari's, white water rafting, paragliding, fishing trips, island boat tours with great food included at very reasonable rates, boat trips to various beaches and caves along the coast.

You can catch the hydrofoil to Rhodes which takes less than an hour.

There is the beautiful resort of Olu deniz with its breathtaking blue lagoon which is not far away by bus from fethiye.

Babadag mountain is where you can paraglide off the mountain and land on the beach.is near by dolmus.

Walking with the "Fethiye Hash house harriers" excellent walking club who walk alternate sundays check webb site for dates discover lovely scenery and villages.

My third year on the run staying in this lovely apartment with more than you need for a self catering holiday.
There is always something different to do.when we come here.
This is what we got up to this time:
Saturday:
Unwound by the pool and relaxed during the day .went for a stroll along the prom decided on Italian restaurant
such a vast choice of cuisine with all the restaurants. watched the sunset whilst dinning "beautiful." then we stopped at a small bar for a last drink where the children played pool while we watched the football
Sunday:
Went to Gocek Market via boat took approx. 2 hours wonderful place with posh yachts had a BBQ on the boat coming back swam in the sea at one of the stops unforgettable day.
Monday
Hired Quad bikes explored the area went to the right of the apartments found some lovely beach bars and a surf cafe where you can have surf lessons, further on we found the turtle conservation area .
Tuesday
Went to Fethiye market the biggest one around haggled for some original fake clothes!!, had fresh turkish pancakes mmmmm.
Took the children to the waterpark they didn't want to come home ,the men went across the road to play tennis then we stopped for a local beer and a snack, effees £1.75.pint and a turkish pizza £1.50p
Had a sleep then got ready to go to the turkish night on the beach they put transport on which was great,
there was turkish dancers in traditional costume and a belly dancer the food was awesome ,the waiters got us up for a dance boy they could dance.!!
Wednesday:
We went on a jeep safari visited Sakikent Gorge (which is the largest river in turkey "wow" unforgettable.
then we went up into the mountains and saw turkish village life, stopped at the trout farm and dinned (fresh trout)
the next stop was a mud bath with a difference. then we stopped for petrol where there was a huge swimming pool ! lovely and refreshing.headed for home What a day.!!
Thursday
We went on a 12 island boat tour booked on the prom. cost just under £8. pounds lots of stops where we dived off the boat swam snorkelled and had games on the boat then we had BBQ the only thing we paid extra for was our drinks real good value.fun day for everyone.
Friday
Relaxed by the pool decided we wanted a pub crawl that night so we headed for Hisarano where there is a village of pubs and restaurants we caught the bus(dolmus) to fethiye then changed to Hisarano bus approx., 20 mins from fethiye.
"o" my head danced and drank non stop caught a taxi home slept in late.
Saturday
last day can't believe it's come to an end spent the day by the pool and had our last meal on the prom.
will be staying longer next year.
