Villa matisse has a young garden with large area of lawn planted , palm trees, orange, lemon,grapefruit peper and magnolia trees The large sun terrace is ideal for eating al fresco or simply relaxing, watching the children in the sun.
The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
This stretch of coastline is known as the "Turquoise Coast" and is amoung the most beauiful coastline in the world. The villa is ideally placed for exploring the resort of calis, the adjoining pretty Turkish harbourside town of Fethiye which nestles into the Baba Dag mountains, and the spectacular world famous Blue lagoon of Olu Deniz.. Sakklikent Gorge, the world famous Heritage sites of the letoon and patra, and the famous Kaya Koy are all within easy reach.
The Fethiye / Calis Beach area
Villa Matisse is only 400 meters away from the nearest beach. A further pleasent 15 minute walk will take you to miles of totally unspoilt coastline and beaches, home to sea turtles and other rare wildlife.
Fethiye has historic rock temples, a colourful local market, pretty harbourside restaurants and is centre for boat trips, diving and hangliding.

Villa Matisse was absolutely superb, could not have asked for more. Location was excellent lots of local restaurants and the beach was only 400 metres away which was great for our children. We especially enjoyed having barbeques around the pool, we will definitely be returning to Villa Matisse next year. J Parke |
