Violet Residencies is a small Private Apartment Complex consisting of just 20 Privately owned Luxury Apartments. Located just a few minutes away from the Beach, via the local public bus service "Dolmus" running every 10 minutes or a 15 minute flat walk. Violet is situated just on the outskirts of the town "Calis" often referred to as one of regions best kept secrets. Quiet and peaceful, yet only fifteen minutes from the larger resorts such as Fethiye, the Apartment has easy access to all amenities, including the local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out.
The Apartment benefits from a Fantastic shared Private pool, with a separate, Safe shallow pool for the children. Leading from the living room and master bedroom is a spacious Patio/Terrace with views over the garden's and pool, furnished with quality table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With one double and one twin bedroom, the Apartment is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
Calis Beach is part of Fethiye, one of the most picturesque coastal towns in Turkey and offers something for everyone - relaxation, great restaurants and bars, friendly people and most of all, exceptional value for money. Calis is also lucky enough to have it's promenade in exactly the right place for watching the amazing sunsets.
Calis is reported to have around 300 days of sun each year - and the beach is lined almost from end to end with restaurants serving superb Turkish cuisine and international favourites. The pedestrianised Calis promenade is the place to watch the simply stunning Calis sunsets.
Calis water taxi service simply go to the kiosk and purchase your tickets (single or return) and once the boat is docked you will be ushered on. It's a very laid back and enjoyable experience. In fact, if time is on your side it is the only way to travel!

Calis Beach Turkey - Things to Do & Places to see
There are plenty of ways to spend your days as well as sunbathing in and around Calis Beach. There are plenty of fun excursions like jeep safaris and also a wealth of history close by, some of it extremely close by! Excursions and day trips are relatively cheap.
Olu Deniz Beach: Possibly the most famous photograph from the entire area - the Blue Lagoon of Olu Deniz. Voted one of the World's best beaches time and time again, and you will be within half an hour of it if you stay in Calis. Don't miss it - you can go by dolmus to Fethiye and change for the Olu Deniz bus and it will be cheap & easy...
Fethiye Rock Tombs - Set into the rock face overlooking Fethiye are the exquisitely carved rock tombs - once the final resting place of the great local Lycians (some 2,500 years ago). Well worth a walk once you have taken the boat over to Fethiye
Kaya Koy ("Ghost Town") - looking down across the Kaya Valley is the eerie abandoned Kaya village - once a Greek settlement of several thousands, until the repatriation of Greeks & Turks in 1923. You can walk through the streets visit the old Greek Orthodox church.
Island of Rhodes: Rhodes is less than two hours from Fethiye - on rare occasions you can see the twinkle of evening lights of the island from Calis promenade - and a hydrofoil runs in season for day trips. You can visit the famous Old Town, the lovely beaches of Rhodes Town and enjoy what is a lovely way to spend a day. Oh, and grab a bit more duty free!
Tlos: Once an important area of the ancient land of Lycia, Tlos is one of the many historical treasures of this part of the World. In one small area, Tlos Fort, rock tombs, the Roman ampitheatre, stadium and Roman bath remains and much more. Tlos was once one of the most powerful cities of Lycia.
Sultans Aqua City: Yes it's small but it is perfectly formed - located a couple of hundred metres from the main traffic lights in Calis centre. Great fun with friendly staff, planned events through the day and happy hours for ice creams, drinks etc.

What a great apartment and complex. Other owners went out of their way to socialize with you and suggested great places to visit. Great apartment,all mod cons clean and well looked after. Pool was huge and spotless, 10 steps from your veranda and in the pool. Only 10-15 mins walk to the beach where there is plenty restaurants and bars to pick from. Never been to Turkey, but this complex and location sold it for me! The well kept , well stocked apartment is a lovely size and the complex is also very well maintained and staffed 24/7. I found other owners/visitors very friendly. The complex is located in easy reach of the beach and very pleasant sea front. There are plenty of shops and bars and restaurants nearby but you dont get the feeling of it being over commercialised. Loved it !
