About the home

Great for a group or family holiday. Oasis villa is one of 6 stylish villas. (Only 3 are occupied) It is very large and prestigious with 3 bedrooms, 2 family bathrooms, downstairs w/c. Large kitchen with all modern amenities. Fully air conditioned. Large lounge and dining area with bed settee if necessary, satellite TV DVD player etc. Open fire. Facilities to eat outside table & chairs, sun loungers, parasols etc. Extensive glass patio doors in the lounge with spectacular views of surrounding scenery. Grassy play area, pretty gardens.
15 minutes to the beaches of Fethiye. 20 - 25 minutes to Olu- Deniz beach.

Each bedroom has a balcony & an air-conditioning unit and is furnished to a high standard with plenty of storage wardrobes, drawers and dressers ( lots of hangers). Regular maid service & property care taker who will help you with all your requirements. Beach towels provided.
Villa is non smoking indoors.
Travel cot available & also 2 more single childrens fold up beds one in each main bedroom
No pets allowed.

The outside pool is huge and is shared by the villas, adjoining the large pool is a shallow pool next to each villa shallower childrens area. Parking space for a car. Patio furniture, parasols & sun loungers available. Area for out door dining and paved and grassy area surrounding the villa with beautiful shrubs and flowers.

Adjacent to the villa are fields with fruit and olive trees. Uzumlu is an area of natural beauty, unspoilt by development. Poppy fields in spring. Ideal for long walks and relaxation. Barbecue.

Close by is Alya restaurant and just up the road Cadianda Pide both sell traditional food and also do takeaway if you prefer to eat at the villa. There are entertainment nights at both restaurants and several other cafe and restaurants in the village. There is also a park in the village with a slide and swings, where the locals are very welcoming.

Further details

Our changeover day is usually Monday Friday or Saturday although this is flexible as long as agreed with us. You must vacate the villa by 12.00 on the day of departure.
Any damage will be chargeable.
If you are booking more than 8 weeks before your departure we require a deposit of 30% to secure the villa dates for you & then the remaining balance 8 weeks before departure. When you express that you would like to book we email you a booking form and ask that you return this to us with a 30% deposit. We will hold the villa for you for 7 days whilst you return this so that you can safely book your flights knowing that your accommodation is held. A receipt is sent. The remaining balance is then required 8 weeks befor eyour departure, upon receiving your final instalment we send you a receipt and information leaflet giving you further details about the villa and details re keys safe codes etc
If you are booking last minute i.e. within 8 weeks of departure we will require the whole amount. Payment is usually made by cheque or direct bank transfer a confirmation booking pack is sent to you on receipt of payment.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Fethiye is one of the best tourist resorts in Turkey, with beaches at Calis, it is also a bustling city, walk along the marina,coffee shops, apple tea, carpet & lace shops. Relax on the beach or if you are energetic kite surf, water ski etc. Sample turkish food, haggle in the markets. There is a fish market where can choose fish & they will cook it for you.

Lycian tombs, Fethiye museum, It is essential to go on a boat trip these are great days out & cost approx £10 to Cleopatra's baths or along the Turquoise coast, 12 islands or Gocek, plenty of swimming stops!

The Fethiye area

Uzumlu is an unspoilt country village 15 minutes from Fethiye that gives a reflection of true turkish life & culture. Quiet & relaxing rural retreat with lots of countryside to walk in, take in picturesque views and local life. Authentic village houses, traditional lifestyle & local people.Uzumlu translates as "place of grape" & you will see grapevines & find the locals happy to share produce with you. Uzumlu is not spoilt by commercialism.

Several local restaurants & bars & a supermarket, internet cafe and icecream and coffee shops. easy walking distance to market square from villa. Local park, very friendly villagers. Small hospital with good facilities and a chemist.
Easy to access Fethiye to get to nearest beach by car, dolmus or taxi.
For people who like to party there are lots of bars and restaurants nearby in Fethiye with good night-life!

The flights come in to Dalaman airport, the approximate transfer time from the airport to Uzumlu is 45 - 50 mins. Transfers to & from Uzumlu can be arranged for you at approx £85 for up to 4 people & £95 for up to 6, £105.00 for 8 etc or you could get an independent taxi. (this costs about £55 one way).

Hire car is available at approximately £27 to £30 per day if you would like to hire a car we can help you with this or you can hire your own car at the airport or in Fethiye at a later date. To see cars & price & availability of car see www.oscarrentacar.com. We email you a map & directions from the airport and the caretaker meets you at the villa with the keys. A car is not essential as there is a dolmus stop close to the villa.
