About the home

A stylish 1 bedroom apartment with a shared pool and own private terrace overlooking the bay from where to dine and watch the amazing sunsets.
The apartment comprises of a large lounge area with TV, CD player, DVD and satellite; an open plan kitchen, completely equipped with full cooking facilities, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine; large dining area, with dining table and chairs; a large shower room with toilet; one double bedroom with full length sliding doors and a view over the bay, wardrobe and a built-in safe for your valuables. All rooms have air conditioning/heating units. The apartment also has a spacious balcony with lovely views over the bay and islands. Outside there is an infinity pool, with integrated lighting and water features, in a private garden with a communal barbecue and vine covered eating area.

The building, set in landscaped gardens, has wide stairways and halls as well as being serviced by a lift which make it ideal for people with disabilities and parents with pushchairs.

Between Calis & Fethiye can be found a brand new hospital which is the largest and most modern in the region.

Our charges are inclusive of utilities, linen, towels (excluding beach towels) and a basic 'Welcome pack' .

Rental period commences at 4:00pm on the first day and finishes at 11:00am on the last day however, we can try to accommodate alternative requirements if we are informed in advance.

Smoking is permitted on the terrace only and is not permitted within the apartment.

Refundable security deposit of £100 required to cover breakages/damage etc

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

The region boasts an enviable climate of long, hot summers and mild winters with more than 300 days of sun a year. Temperatures can range from 16 degrees in winter to over 30 degrees in the summer.

The Turquoise Coast is without doubt one of the most beautiful and dramatic stretches of coastline anywhere in the Mediterranean. Stretching from the splendid Taurus Mountains, the coast is awash with beautiful beaches, crystal clear, turquoise seas (hence the name – Turquoise Coast), stunning scenery, secluded coves and fascinating ancient sites full of history and culture, including the amazing Aspendos Theatre.

The area has something for everyone whatever your interests, from the thrills of paragliding and white water rafting to the peace and solitude of hiking and birdwatching. There’s so much to see and do that you’ll want to come back.

Olu Deniz and the Blue Lagoon has one of the most spectacular beaches in Europe and is the most photographed beach and lagoon in Turkey. Here the more adventurous of you can enjoy paragliding over the magnificent bay. Visit Patara Beach with its 14.2 kilometres of child-friendly sandy beach or relax on the impressive Turtle Beach which can only be reached by boat. There are many boat tours available including the 12-island cruise which is highly recommended or why not take the boat trip to visit a nearby sunken city and swim and snorkel amongst the ruins? Enjoy a therapeutic mud bath at Dalyan or take a trip to Kalkan steeped in ancient history and ideal for exploring the archaeological sites. View the impressive Lycian rock tombs or visit the “Ghost Town” at Kaya Koy. There are also a number of excellent excursions available, namely Saklikent Gorge to see its natural springs and white water, Pamukkale with its thermal springs and dramatic chalk formations, book a truck safari into the mountains or a jeep adventure safari. For those of you who want the night life the bustling town of Hisaronu is vibrant and entertaining with shops, restaurants, bars and discos staying open well into the small hours.

The Fethiye / Calis Beach area

Calis Beach:
Calis (pronounced Chalish) beach is framed by mountains on either side and is famous for its spectacular sunsets, cooling breezes and beautiful 12 km long beach of sand and shingle which stretches right across the bay to Fethiye. The area is flat and therefore suitable for walking. The resort is quiet and good for families and peace loving people yet quietly busy with plenty of bars and restaurants along the beautiful sweeping sea front promenade. Minimarkets, Migros supermarket, discos and seasonal entertainment are also all within easy access.

Daily activities include a selection of water sports, tours & excursions, a family day at the aqua park or simply shopping along the promenade or at the weekly Sunday market. There is also a larger Tuesday Market in Fethiye or just spend a day pampering yourself at one of the many Turkish baths.

Fethiye:
The bustling market & historic town of Fethiye is only a 10 minute dolmus (mini bus) ride costing 1YTL (40p) or a 30 minute water taxi ride away. Fethiye is still very much Turkish in character and stays open all year round. It also hosts the largest weekly authentic market in southwest Turkey known as the Tuesday Market, where locally grown fruit and vegetables can be purchased or where you can shop for “designer gear” and haggle for bargains.
The picturesque harbour area makes a pleasant place to spend the evening, dining out in the Bazaar or by the twinkling lights of the harbour. The pedestrianised old town is appealing and a reasonable place to shop for souvenirs and Turkish Delight.

Many regional UK airports offer direct flights to nearby Dalaman airport, which has a new international terminal serving an increasing number of travellers. A new dual carriageway and a road tunnel though the mountains reduce the onward journey time to Calis to around 30 minutes.

If you would like, we can arrange airport transfers at a cost of £80 return for up to four people to be paid directly to the driver in sterling. Please request a price for a larger party. The driver will have the keys to the apartment with him, however, should you wish to arrange your own transfer, please bear in mind that (depending upon arrival time) the keys might not always be available immediately upon arrival.

A car is not necessary as dolmus (local mini buses) and taxis are readily available, but car hire can be arranged if desired.
