About the home

Fabulous Duplex fully airconditioned 3 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom Apartment with large pool and panoramic views. The property is situated in a quiet area of Calis Beach and in a small developement of 36 apartments, in 6 blocks. To the front of the property is a well developed garden area within which is a 20 mtr swimming pool with a small children's area, which the dining balcony overlooks. There are plenty of sunloungers and umbrellas by the pool. The local service bus from Fethiye terminates by the apartment and local Dolmuses pass every 5 mins so a car is not essential.
Inside the property there is a large open plan lounge/dining area with flat screen satelite TV/DVD player, plenty of DVDs supplied, books and a few games. There is a separate utility room with a washing machine , coat hooks and cleaning utensils. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 with en-suit shower rooms and furnished balconies, Family shower room and toilet. Hair driers, towels and bed linen are provided. Marble floors though out the property keep it cool in the summer months. In one bedroom a TV/DVD player is installed if space from the kids is needed or ( husband/wife).

The pool is 5ft deep all round and has a childrens area at one end, there are showers to use before entering and we supply 4 sunbed mattresses for added comfort, To the rear of the property is a medium sized Shop with a meat department if you enjoy cooking. 2 other smaller shops are are located about 200yds away. At this end of Calis Beach most Bar owners do not charge for the Sun Beds and Umbrella's so long as you purchase drinks and sometimes a meal all prices are very reasonable, if you go towards the Centre of Calis Beds are charged for.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Calis is the Beach area close to the town of Fethiye, Fethiye is medium sized town with a large harbour from which you can do many trips including the twelve island boat trip, by local transport you can go to Oludeniz and for the young and lively, Hisaronu. The local area is flat and has some very nice walks. Places to visit include Sakilkent, a beautiful george with an Ice cold river running through it, perfect for tired feet. Kayakoy- the ghost village, Fish market to sample local dishes cooked in the market restaurants after choosing your own fish or meat, this is a must for all visitors.

The Fethiye / Calis Beach area

The area of Calis is just 45 minutes transfer from Dalaman Airport. Calis Beach is a small but growing resort close to the town of Fethiye it is set in a small inlet protected by 12 Islands to which boat trips visit everyday. It has a sand and shingle beach to which the Loggerhead Turtles come ashore to lay their eggs in August and September. There is an Aqua Park, lots of Bars and Restaurants situated along the promenade and in the small town centre. Water Dolmuses sail along the river and over the Bay into Fethiye from early morning till aprox Midnight. There is a market every Sunday which is worth a visit. The sunsets over the bay are stunning.

“Perfect Family holiday, quiet, relaxing and great setting!” we travelled with a 2 year old daughter and arrived in the night to be welcomed by a very friendly pre-booked taxi driver at the airport. they had a childs seat in the taxi for us which we pre- arranged. the trasfer was pretty quick and when we arrived at the apartment we were very impressed. we went on to have a fantastic holiday. the apartment is of a fabulous standard, clean and everything in fully working order. the air conditioning was a god send as there was a heatwave for 5 days! the pool is very clean and the flowers in the garden a delight also it was very quite - only us and another couple of small families there most days. the beach in 5 mins walk around the corner and beautiul. especailly at sunset. We have booked to go back next May to the same apartment and would fully reccomment it to anyone with a family or if your looking for a quiet relaxing holiday with lots to do in the area. loved the boat taxi's into Fetiye and also the great variety of good restaurants in Calis. Boat trips from Calis harbour also a great day out.. Don't bother going to Rhodes for the day! Turkey is much better.

Our family went to Palm Beach E5 again this year,our third time and we can't wait to go again!.
The apartment is just perfect as it is spacious, comfortable and private enough to go with three couples without being in each others way. The location is fabulous two minutes to the beach,restaurants and shops. The pool is lovely and peaceful. I rarely recommend holidays but can,t resist telling people about this place,everyone who has been on my recommendation has loved it.
We are looking at flights to book for 2011.

Myself, family and friends have not only stayed in Palm Beach E5 'once' - but have recently enjoyed a second stay ...and now booking a 'third' for next year!
Now that in it's self is compliment enough!
All aspects of our holiday were relaxing, comfortable, safe and thoroughly enjoyable- from the prompt and comfortable transfer, to the beautiful, spacecious 'penthouse apartment as we called it.
The views from the top floor apartment were breathtaking taking in the mountains, pool, well apointed gardens including, banana, fig and olive tree's. The apartment is spacious and easily houses 6 to 8 people in comfort.
The local people are warm and hospitable and want you to enjoy your experience of Turkey, lots of local trips to enjoy , visits to the markets, 12 Island Boat trip and all the usual trips ( very reasonably priced) it is a holiday to remember in a family friendly complex - where you can socialise & relax at your own pace!

The apartment was excellent and it's location is spot on.
It's far enough from the sea that you are not bothered by the bars and restaurants but it is still in easy reach.
the pool was just right, we had it to ourselves quite a few times, which suited us as we had the pick of the spots, we all enjoyed the holiday very much. The weather was also kind to us.
We think that September/October are good months to go.
